Modification Help / Re: Requesting a Brick making Tutorial
« on: April 19, 2009, 07:33:24 PM »
You could try making one with some random numbers if you want. I'm not exactly sure but, I think that like 2 units = 1 stud so 8X8 would = 4StudsX4Studs but I don't know what the 20 would be. Just mess around with it. Remember to include in your zip file: A description that should look like this:
Code: [Select]
Title: BRICKS!!!
Author: MY NAME HERE
BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH DEY R BRIKS!!!
And then a server.cs that says this:
Code: [Select]
exec("./mybrickfilename.blb");
and then a .blb file (just name it in notepad blah.blb, it should work) that looks like that code above:
Code: [Select]
4 4 10?
BRICK
And name the .zip file Bricks_Mahbricks or whatever. I'm just guessing on this, but no one else is helping, why not me?

A blb file is not a script and therefore you can't execute it. Really you shouldn't be trying to help if you don't know the answer yourself.

Drama / Re: Yes, I am back.

You're about as irrelevant as any of the other trolls on this forum. You're not the only one and you're certainly not one of the most prominent. Infact nobody here even remembers who you are.

No idea, I just looked at his forum and like 90% of the posts were from some guy called Delta. I assume this is just one of the random cigarettes of this community who was big-headed enough to think anyone actually cared about him.

The whole purpose of this thread is to prove you've matured and you're no longer some dumbass kid right?

I think playing a guessing game with your real identity is a pretty stuffty way of demonstrating that, Good luck getting people to take you seriously.

And he's Delta.

Help / Re: Ping: ???
« on: April 19, 2009, 05:07:24 PM »
Check that you don't have any firewall software or anti-virus that would be blocking Blockland, thats the most likely reason. If you're not sure just disable it all and see if it makes a difference.

Also next time, help topics go in the help forum.

Combination of a pissed off haircut lady and frizzy post-shower hair. Its not that damaged for some reason. Almost every hair place I go to the people like wonder why my hair is so healthy and stuff even though I dye it so often.

More pix then.

She was speaking nonsense about how the population will go down. :U To many people having unprotected love for that to happen.

Maybe you shouldn't bother posting in threads that require some intelligence, because you've just demonstrated that you're an idiot.

It means you have to connect using an ethernet cable instead of wirelessly in order to access the admin panel of your router.

Drama / Re: LewnaJa, Why? Seriosuly?
« on: April 19, 2009, 12:27:55 PM »
He has three abandoned accounts on the RTB forums, he has two authentication codes, he's capable of a handicapped actions. He'll come back, and when he does, I can only laugh at him.

I brought in the authentication with ID as a result of him constantly rejoining. It is now not a problem.

Modification Help / Re: Vehicle Velocity Too Low and Rolling Backwards
« on: April 19, 2009, 09:41:04 AM »
Make sure the wheels are positioned around the center of mass of the vehicle for a start, thats common sense anyway.

Second make sure that there isnt any massCenter property or something of that nature in the datablock that may be placing the center of mass in a position that is inappropriate for your vehicle. I can't remember if it has any effect but its best to be safe.

General Discussion / Re: Damn, the v12 beta is already out.
« on: April 19, 2009, 07:07:01 AM »
I saw a certain person playing it a few days ago on steam, I won't tell so that person won't get spammed with "WATS IN V12?!!!?!?!111!!!one!!!11!eleven!"
Discuss how you feel if you have feelings about it.

Haha, I can't believe there are still stupid people who fall for that crap.

You can talk crap and ban him all you want.

So why the forget did you start this drama thread in the first place? All you've managed to prove here is that not only is LewnaJa some friendy kid with a roostertail of mental disorders, but you're handicapped as well.

He will only come back.

I have already banned this dumbass from our forums and the RTB service and no he will not be coming back because the ban is a BL ID ban. If he wants to go ahead and buy a new ID for $20 so he can come back on our forums, thats ok. Thats $20 for Badspot and I'll ban his new ID again within a few hours.

And yeah, it really is easy to spot his alt accounts because he is just that handicapped.

Help / Re: Blockland Range 28030 or 28032
« on: April 19, 2009, 06:03:47 AM »
Ok here's the plan - set your computer back to "Obtain settings automatically" for your network connection if you changed them to some static jazz.

Next, go Start > Run and type "cmd" then type "ipconfig" and look for "IP Address" (or IPv4/IPv6) in the list, it should be "192.168.xxx.xxx" or "10.1.XXX.XXX"

Now go to your router and find your rule for Blockland. Check that it is 28000-28032 and the protocol is "TCP/UDP" or "Both" or if there's only TCP and UDP create two rules - one for TCP and then another for UDP with the same ports. Also check that the forwarding address/remote IP is the IP Address you found above.

Now on your computer just disable your windows defender/windows firewall/all antivirus programs because chances are you misconfigured those sons of bitches.

Finally make sure your port in Blockland (Advanced Config in Start Game) is set to 28000.

If you do all this, you should be just fine. Key things people usually screw up:

 - Setting the forwarding IP to their router
 - Not using "Both" if theres an option for it in the Protocol settings for the forwarding rule.

Help / Re: Windows 7: Where are downloaded add-ons stored?
« on: April 19, 2009, 05:54:07 AM »
Windows Vista & 7 have a mechanism where they store all application-created files in a secret cache. If you're running Vista or Windows 7 you should always install Blockland directly to the C: drive and not into the Program Files folder.

The cache should be somewhere like:

"C:\Users\YourUser\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Blockland\"
