But that's the bit that screws kids over most. You can easily break your network connection by entering the wrong details in there, then you're boned unless you can figure out how to undo it. Its easier to skip that bit and get the essentials working first.

Instead, he goes behind my back, and, even though he says he didn't, he claimed it as his own.
He also didn't give any credit, not anywhere in the server title, description, or build itself (any or all of those 3 would be fine).
Snip3r, next time, ask for permission first, don't claim it as your own, and give credit where credit is due, and this can all be avoided.
But definitely, I will be adding a sign saying it's built by me when I start working on it again. That was my mistake.
If you want to use my build, ask first, and if I say no, tough luck for you. Besides, why would you want to use it in the first place if it is WIP?
Thats my point. Your permission is not required because its not owned by you in the first place.

This is not build theft, this is one kid who saw a build he liked and wanted to change the bits he didn't like. I haven't seen a single example where he claimed it as his own.
Seriously, if you don't like people using your builds then don't make them in the first place because people will always borrow your stuff. If I flipped out and cried every time someone borrowed some of my code and didn't credit me, The entire first page of Drama would be taken up by my crap. Stop being so pathetic.
This is a Sandbox Game. The whole idea of the client saving system is so people can go around saving and loading whatever they want wherever they want to. The fact that he's hosting your build doesn't mean its going to "dent your profit margins" or anything, you're just crying because you wanted all the e-appreciation. Maybe in your next build put a huge sign in the middle saying "BUILT BY DUCKMASTER MY BL ID IS XXXXX" to solve any confusions.

Yeah it would.
RTB v3 is planned to come out quite soon now, within a month and a bit or so I would hope. RTB v4 will be a relatively short release since the only new feature in that is RTB Connect which I have built a lot of the backend and done lots of research for as part of RTB v3 development.

I don't know why Badspot's tutorial tells you to change all this DNS and gateway stuff but you shouldn't have to change anything on your computer (minus anti-virus/firewalls) to make port forwarding work. Leave your IP options to Obtain Automatically or whatever, and setup your router as normal going to your computer IP. Then if there's a LAN IP Reservation section in your router, configure that to always give your computer the same ip. If there isn't, you'll just have to check your IP each time you start a server and change the router to use that one.

RTB uses PHP as a medium to interface with a MySQL database. You will need to learn PHP first, then look at the RTB scripts (mainly RTBH_Support.cs) to see how I did it. You will find the method I use is more effective when dealing with special characters or large volumes of data.
