This is getting really annoying. My server keeps randomly kicking everyone off and disappearing from the server list, but saying that it is still up. It only comes back up for a few more hours when I reboot it.

Thanks, just means I have to reply in two places.

You messed up your server and managed to get it using just under 100% cpu - almost certainly related to an add-on you have.

v0002 used a free shared master server provided by Garage Games. master.blockland.us is the old retail master server.

It happens each time you renew your contract, just because of the way that all works at the moment. It'll go away after about 5 days.

Sounds like you don't have any skills if an admin had to remove your build. Best wishes for the future.

We've unfortunately had to reboot both our ny04 and ny05 nodes again due to some issues for certain people hosted on those nodes. Apologies for the lack of notice.

We will be adding an extra week to all active contracts to apologise for the recent disruptions to the service.

I hope RTB can come with the Blockland download in the future, meaning when you download BL on Steam or wherever - RTB is there by default. I have another idea - drag and drop add-on's. All you'd do is drag the add-on's you'd want to use to your account on RTB and it'd be there. Best of luck, Ephialtes.

One of my main aims is to have RTB accounts sub-divided into the computers you play Blockland on - so you'd have a "Caribou's Desktop" and a "Caribou Laptop" if you play on a desktop and laptop a bunch. This would be great because it means:

• You could download add-ons to a specific computer (or even a dedicated server you manage) just from the download manager without having to be on that computer.
• Your controls, prefs, avatars and colors could be made available to all the computers you play Blockland on.
• Your save files could even be made available to all the computers you use.

And a bunch of other things.

dunno if it was mentioned here.

will rtb hosting ever be implemented in a newer rtb? or still be something to be found from basically those who join this forum.

We will be adding an ingame dedicated server control tool to the RTB add-on which will function as a kind of ingame advert for RTB hosting if you don't already have a server, yeah.

and wouldnt it make more sense to just make RTB come with the game by default?

I stand by RTB being a separate part of Blockland because it contains a lot of things that aren't necessary for the game to be enjoyed and it makes it easier for me to push out RTB updates.

Id say the maximum will be like around 50 MB before paying.
so don't shut down you server yet

I've done a lot of work into optimizing our storage and how we keep files so I'm not too worried about that. You should be able to keep all your saves on RTB without having to worry about quotas.
