Micheal Jackson's I'm pretty sure influenced a stuffton of stuff. Kanye can be shoved right next to all the other rap songs as far as I'm concerned.kanye has had an influence in a lot of rap. his album graduation helped pave the way to other rap music other than gangsta rap and all the hardcore stuff
michael jackson was the king of pop, so i don't see why kanye (a rap singer) should be awarded with this.its not awarded for best pop its for who had a lot of influence in music and mtv
