I recently sent this message to that suggestion thing in the bug reporter in game:

I'm sure that this has been suggested before, but I have an idea that will make it profitable for you.

First, none of the other paints would mixable, only some new special ones. If you add special "Mixing Paints" into the store, (Like maybe just Pure Red Pure Green and Pure Blue) you could make only those paints craftable with each other.

The crafting system would use a simple RGB formula. For example, you take Pure Red (255 0 0) and Pure Blue (0 0 255) and apon mixing them together, since no areas of color overlap each other in the RGB code, you get a Magenta Paint with the RGB code 255 0 255. But let's say you take this new paint and fuse it with another Pure Red, (255 0 0) The code would be such that:

(255 0 255) + (255 0 0)

When the perfect 255 values in the Red area of the RGB code add together, they simply nullify each other and thus the first value remains 255, making red the dominant value in our soon to be new color. However, when a non-zero value interacts with a zero value, the non-zero value is lessened. In this case, divided by two.

(255 0 128)

The result is a color with more of a red value than blue, thus creating a pinker color.

Other than the formula, the paints that would be used should be the folowing:

Pure Red (255 0 0) [NOT USABLE ON ITEMS]
Pure Green (0 255 0) [NOT USABLE ON ITEMS]
Pure Blue (0 0 255) [NOT USABLE ON ITEMS]

And added on to these three I believe it would be best to also include:

PURE BLACK (0 0 0) [NOT USABLE ON ITEMS]
PURE WHITE (255 255 255) [NOT USABLE ON ITEMS]

These paints will be different than "A Distinctive Lack of Hue" and "An Extraordinary Abundance of Tinge" in that, while very similar, the currently existing white and black paints are not actually perfectly black or white, therefore they wouldn't be as efficent in mixing as Pure Black and Pure White. However, it is not my choice as to which paints you will use or not use.

As for price in the store, You should of course make these paints more expensive than all the others, maybe seven to nine dollars. You would want to make them expensive so people wouldn't just use the mixing paints rather than the paints already included. Along with a higher price, these paints would also have a little higher drop rate than hats, for the same reason as the price of course. The same is to be said for the rarity in crates maybe a little higher uncrate rating than the top tier hat, or even make the paint the top tier item (under the exceedingly rare item of course.)

I believe that's all I have to say, I thank you for your time if you read this. Please have a nice day!

So what do you guys think?

The idea was mixable paints if you're too handicapped to read.

tint would be gay
it should obstruct your entire screen
and then do 50 damage to you when you hit someone
and have no random crits (to make it fair)

I, myself, think though that they should drop all the cosmetic items from drops. Seriously, I couldn't care less about them.

they don't drop very often in the first place.

Nice, but I think it should include yellow cyan and meagerness and instead of buying all mixing pains separate you buy one mixing pack including all 8 mixing paints and you cannot use mixing pains directly on hats but once you mix a paint you could use that. I guess you might be able to mix a mixing paint with nothing to paint with it but why not? It would be REALLY awesome if you could get a Team Mixing Pack so you can make 2 different colors for the 2 teams.

Yes, I agree.
