im going out for a little bit of holiday shopping in new york this year and already heard it earlier this month on the radio/in stores there, and its not even dec
also in a discord with queeba and probably will be vc gaming with him sometime next month, and id bet someone's going to wham all of us all at once, or at least me in particular since i got this streak going

a client mod can easily add a keybind to run the relevant chasecam delay function. its trivial to make it work as a toggle or as a separate keybind for on/off

« on: November 20, 2023, 09:25:49 AM »what youre describing sounds exactly like chasecam just set to a very high delay, meaning the camera wont respond to your inputs immediately but after that delay^ this is why i asked how it works - "chase cam" refers to the 3rd person camera, not a vehicle camera, and there's a game setting that lets you dynamically change how long it waits before it continues to follow your player. unless you can give more detail in how it worked, it sounds like it was a kind of chasecam mod, even if its not the first chasecam mod you are thinking of/found, so the question is what makes you certain it isnt and why.
setting it extremely high practically makes the camera static
