Off Topic / Computer Problem w/ Keyboard

I have an Acer Aspire 5253 BZ602 if that matters.

I run a community on Gmod and we were RPing and all of the sudden my keyboard freezes up.
My sound was off so I couldn't hear anything. My mouse was moveable, but keyboard was unresponsive.

I had to do a hard shutdown.

Same thing happened today, in Gmod, if it matters it was the same map that it happened on the first time, gm_winterforest. I have to hard shutdown each time and it works after a reboot. It makes a beep with the sound on each time I press a key.

It is 1375. Yes, it's in the past.

All normal inventions have happened so far, such as... muskets, cannons, boats... But, no countries are around. You must create your own. Will you lead it to victory, or will it collapse?

Please note the technology is around 1375. No trench guns, no M16s, no steamboats, no Gatling guns.

RULES

YOU CAN

- invent anything at whatever time it happens. Ex. Electricity in whenever that was discovered

- your kingdom can do anything it is capable of. Ex. go on a military rampage (but that's not a good idea)

- run your kingdom in any way you want it to be run. Ex. a dictatorship or a democracy

- name your kingdom maturely (ex. Erast, something like Equestria or Minecraftland will not be accepted. Be creative!)

- use any technology that is at your disposal.

- hold multiple territories world wide - you're a kingdom, not a country
CAN NOT

the punishment for doing one of these or anything I deem inappropriate will cause your country to be wiped from existence.

- invent things in a ridiculous way and/or in a ridiculous amount of time. Ex. "WE GOT JET PLANES CUZ WERE AWESOME" or "WE FOUND IT IN A METEOR"

- try to hijack the thread from my control. Ex. "A massive meteor hits, causing all of existance to be wiped out. This thread is locked." EXCEPTIONS: none

- ask for a huge amount  of starting land. If you try to ask for an oversized territory to start with then you won't get any. Ex. "I want half of the Earth!"

- steal technology from other people unless you send an espionage agent (spy) or trade. Ex. "We got shotguns from Kingdom 1!"

- use technology that your country can not suppport materials wise and/or economically. Ex. have SR-71 blackbirds in a tiny poor country

- copy a real country. Ex. remake the USA

- change the name of your country after it is added to the map. Choose wisely.
GUIDELINES FOR WAR

Make sure all members involved are online. Be fair, and if you can not come up with anything use an odds calculator such as this one. Put in 0 - {your units} then 0 - {enemy's units}

Weapons can be anything as along as you have invented the neccesary technologies for them and the ability to produce them.

So one day Stocking calls ChappersTeddy cute. He therefore assumes that she's in love with him so he defends her to the death and 'loves' her back.

I still don't get it, and it looks unfair.
She says she's coming back on Tuesday, though.

Stocking gets banned for flaming. He says it looks 'unfair' only because it's Stocking.

A very unexpected event indeed.

Here he's saying that too many people hate Lord Tony ONLY because Stocking and Lord Tony are starfishs to eachother. Many people probably respect Lord Tony.

yeaah, it's this thread again.

So there are two girls in this story. One we will call H, and the other will be known as P.

So H lives on my street, and P is my girlfriend. P and H are friends. One day (me and H ride the same bus) H ran her hand down my back while we were talking to each other once. A few other times, we looked each other directly face-to-face and today, she put her hand on my shoulder while she was talking to me. No idea what to do. What makes it even more awkward is that P and H are friends.

TWO THINGS
First: I AM NOT TRYING TO ADVERTISE A FORUM. It's just my current name on steam.

Second: I'm minding my own business with my friend playing Battlefield 3 on the PS3 then all of the sudden I look over, and see the first message. I reply quickly.
He wanted me to code for him AND give him a schema for Garry's Mod I coded a while back. And I say stop being a richard. He continues to curse me out, and I basically say 'because you're being an starfish, I'll code for you? that TOTALLY makes sense.'

Human Error is a co-op/singleplayer mod for Half Life 2: Episode 2. The campaign puts you as Civil Protection Officer Anders, who fights against a Resistance/Xenian uprising in a Combine city.


Human Error took more than two and a half years to finish. In my opinion, this is already quite a long time to do a single episode. The idea to work on the same thing right away is not the most interesting one. As a mod developer you want to be able to try new things and new ideas, rather than be stuck on the same project with ideas and story you already came up with years ago – you don’t want to keep working in the same framework. If you were working for a company, you might not have a choice. But as mod developer, you want a shorter time span for your project. Currently Water is supposed to take about a year to develop, and we plan the same for our next project. That’s not to say Human Error - Episode Two doesn’t exist however. We already have some plans and ideas for it, but nothing that really make us all that excited.

We don't really have anything like the Controllable Manhacks, which for us was a big hook the first time around. The plan was, at one point, to make HE2 part as a co-op campaign, but making a multiplayer mod needs a bigger crew, with more playtesters and servers to test the mod on. It's something that would be harder to organize for a team that has always been a little on the small side. So, whilst we haven't given up on Human Error, right now our minds are on other adventures. With Water we are trying out all kinds of new gameplay features that we wouldn't be able to do in the FPS world of Human Error, and we're having a lot of fun doing it. Hopefully you'll like it too.

Daisy

Daisy was a goat of mine. A pet. Yes. She would come inside and lay on the couch with us. She was the second sweetest thing ever. We had to give her up because we didn't live on a ranch, we lived in the suburbs. Not kidding. So she went to my mom's friend's friend's ranch. The owner of the ranch would make them muffins with goat-friendly things and feed them to them. She was recently killed by a bobcat, one week before we were going to see her in Dallas.

Rudy

Rudy was a 17 year old year old cat, who was nearly blind in his right eye. He was nice to EVERYONE and EVERYTHING. He was very frail, and my other cat Seven would mess with him and try to play. He didn't have any front claws, and could not defend himself. Because he was so weak, he couldn't climb trees. Coyotes have been moving into our neighborhood, and that's what got him.

The Brink of Humanity, the last remaining colonization ship for the planet of Xleria, had finally reached the Novus galaxy. Xleria was a planet perfect for human life - though it was small. It was covered in water, minus one island the size of Earth's Australia. Five ships were launched, and each held twenty-thousand people. Now, as the Brink of Humanity arrives, they take note of the single star in the system. They pass by, and the left third of the ship is flushed with coolant after being evacuated to keep from injuries. Though as they swung around the star, they are suddenly pulled into orbit by an unnoticed second star. They slowly hurtle to it, unable to escape the grasps of Novus Two. The on-board AI estimates that one year remains. You are a passenger of the Brink of Humanity. All of the security and most command members, including the captain, have abandoned the ship. You have one year. Make the best of it.
