if anyone wants to get a group together for DayZ (not at set times, just whenever) that'd be cool; i have a specific server to play on because it's really easy to get powerful and this is primarily for fun

forget I worded that badly

What i'm trying to say is, I don't see what reinstalling CS;S would do to help.

Because Garry's Mod uses other games' content. It doesn't have its OWN CS:S content stored within it, it uses the CS:S content to be able to use... well, CS:S content. If you uninstall CS:S, Garry's Mod will no longer have CS:S. Since the texture is stored within CS:S, then reinstalling it would most likely replace the texture with the one you want, since Garry's Mod will be using the CS:S file as it usually does.
