I agree.  Painting should be moved to full trust.

Umm, getting the function name is cake.  Just run retail with the editor mod and open the save GUI in F10.  Then click on the button that saves your work and get the function name there.  Now, knowing what variables to send to the function, that's the hard part.

Well, I vote that people should be able to server as moderator for topics they start.  That way, cleaning up the forum becomes a lot easier.  Obviously, Badspot would be able to take away someone's mod ability should they prove unable to handle the responsibility.

Hey, VH.  PM me your code and I'll see what I can do.  Which RTB .dts file are you using?

Fudge AoT.

Lol, for you fans of Christmas Story:

"But I didn't say 'fudge'; I said the mother of them all, the 'f' dash dash dash word."

Yeah, I noticed that too on another server.  Weird interior collision detection I guess.

Hmm, sounds like graphics issue.  Try disabling your Vertex Lighting.

Yeah, GUIs and CS files would have to be re-exec'd.  But as for the game recognizing new files (.dts, image files, etc), I think you can just use getModPaths();.

Please, I beg you.  Take the time to fix your music.  I try to join all these servers, and no one has fixed their music so it makes me download again.  For the good the community, lol, fix your music.

Not if you're wanting to keep adding lines to the same file.  You may be able to code the deletion of the temp file in between uses though, I don't remember.

Well, you'd have to use two files. One file that actually gets executed and a temp file.  The temp file would be used when you just want to add a line to it.  So on the line addition, you'd read in all the lines from the exec file until you get to a certain point, then write them to the temp file and add your new line.  then close off the file and write all the temp content to the exec'd file.

About the abort, I'm sure it's possible but I'm not gonna spell that out for you.

It dumps info about that object to the console.  It's almost like echoing all the object's properties.  It works for GUIs too.  But not for functions, at least not that I can tell.
