i think it randomizes which pokemon can be encountered where. if you check the area of pokemon you've seen it'll tell you where to find them.

at the elite 4 on my tyrannitar family-only run

tyrannitar is level 70, and is ready for the pokemon league

i'm currently doing a random encounter nuzlocke on white. i have a garchomp named rape train, a tepig named pignition, and a hoppip named useless. and 3 other pokemon i can't remember

you have to start a new game for the randomized starters, but random wild pokemon works if its already used i think

I'm playing Random Emerald right now, which fully randomizes all Pokemon encounters (i.e. you can find any Pokemon anywhere) as well as the three starters, I just chose Magneton as my starter lol
