Off Topic / Computer keeps loving up

Sorry about the quick topics but this is really starting to piss me off. I'm trying to extract Hearthfire into my Skyrim folder but whenever I right-click to access winrar my window completely freezes for about a minute and causes my desktop to reset? my wallpaper goes blue and my taskbar disappears but they reappear after a few seconds, this also closes all tabs. Any idea on how to fix this? this has happened every time I go to retry it

A few recent incidents at my school made me think of this. Perhaps this will lead to answers but I guess this could primarily be a place to throw your rants or whatever.

Hats in the building, Personally I see no problem with this as long as it doesn't conceal the face or isn't a distraction in class.

Off Topic / Guitar pick-ups and effects help

I'm currently retrofitting the first electric I bought. I'm repainting and gutting the entire thing to put higher quality parts in. Right now I'm trying to scrounge up the gear and parts to get the Rolling Stones sound as it will be a gift to the lead guitarist in the band I'm in.

I'm looking for pickups and effects, does anyone have any recommendations? I'm new to pickups.

Edit: Oops, probably should've included this info. The guitar has a single open coil humbucker

Off Topic / How to deal with bitch of a step-sister

I'm extremely pissed because of this chick. I'm in the doghouse because of something that happened yesterday (not going to talk about it) and now my handicapped step-sister feels like she can boss me around and do all her chores.

She is 23 and still living with us (WITH HER BOYFRIEND), we've spent the last year retrofitting our basement so she can move down there. We've spent enough on the basement that she could get a decent apartment and new car, she has a decent, well-paying job now and hasn't provided a single penny.

I was told to clean the kitchen and I walk in there only to find out SHE FLUNG WATER BOTTLES all over the loving place. Along with the kitchen I have to clean the bathroom*. She just waltzes in there and slams all her loving stuff everywhere. Even with her boyfriend and I using that bathroom we make LESS of a mess than her. She has multiple bottles of shampoo and conditioner that do the exact same thing, unused bottles of lotion that we've had for years, underneath the sink is filled with 10 years worth of tampons and pads (I've done the math, she has WAY too much), all her unused hairstyling stuff, and a bunch of other stuff that's unused.

She cooks dinner for us occasionally and has given me food poisoning on multiple events. She is also the reason why we have multiple cats now, We were going to only have two but because of her we have four. Our house reeks of piss and stuff because of four cats using the same litter box.



*I should point out that that is MY bathroom

Going to be spending my new years eve at my girlfriends house with her parents and a bunch of random people I don't know. I'm not looking forward to it that much mostly because I have to bring my bass and will be performing in front of everybody in a small band.

I honestly have no idea how to avoid an anxiety attack during this, any ideas?

My friend and I have planned an event thst spans over 3 days but she can't stay over because my parents don't trust me enough to have a female sleep over. I've already discussed how we'll sleep in separate rooms and such but I can't get them to change their minds, ideas?

Off Topic / Christmas: Yay or Nay

I've never been a fan of Christmas besides when I was under 6 and generally dread this time of the year, Yesterday was my birthday and first thing that happened was my step-sister opening my door and screaming happy birthday. I received a Samsung galaxy tab 4 NOOK and enough birthday spanks from my girlfriend to bruise (not complaining, that was great) but other than that it wasn't too special. I'm not looking forward to the excess amount of family in a few days.

What is your opinion on Christmas? Do you like it or do you hate it?

Off Topic / My stomach feels like a battlefield

I haven't eaten in two days and I finally ate a small brownie along with some milk, I don't know what kind of stuff I just did but my stomach feels horrible and I'm sweating even though all the fans in my house are on and stuff. There is no Pepto Bismal or anything else in my cabinet and this is really horrible, like on the level of when I had the flu and vomited everything up bad.

Does anyone have any homemade cures for this

Edit: it is moving down to my kidneys
Ok, that has calmed down but I still am sweating and feel like stuff
Stomach is no longer churning like a ship in the midst of a hurricane but still feels weird a little, sweating has stopped, kidneys no longer feel horible and is acceptable. I'm eating atleast once a day for now on, n9 matter how I feel

I just watched "The Green Inferno." And to be honest, it was nothing more than a film dedicated for shocking people. It was basically a film full of shock matter showing off tons of gore, blood, and cannibalism with Ehh acting.

Off Topic / I'm sick of being fat

After a lovely physical at the doctors office where I was diagnosed with sleep apnea, possibly Insomnia (Need to take my sleep study to confirm), and my blood pressure was high during testing as well as being told I need to take vitamin D₃ supplements. I have also not lost any weight from restricting what I eat and exercising in the 2 months so I feel like a complete loving piece of lard on legs.


I am going to essentially starve myself* because I am sick of GAINING weight when I should be loosing it (It is not muscle, my sizing has stayed the same.)

*Along with all that proper nutrition stuff
If you can't tell I am extremely agitated at myself from this

Off Topic / I woke up with dried blood on my hands

I just woke up and my hands have dried blood on them, my left hand has the most. I looked in the mirror and I don't have blood anywhere else but my hands, I need an explanation because this is actually freaking me out
