I was trying to play one of his servers and he kept on adding rule ontop of rule, making gameplay really confusing and just not fun.
Although I didn't really see any abuse from him, the rest of this thread has me cringing.

i would make the big white boxes smaller, maybe make them display at 60-70% width on pc or some stuff

look up how to store passwords securely because you might be doing it wrong

I'm using bcrypt to store passwords, so there's nothing wrong there.

I'll change the checkbox and experiment with different sizes.

Looks pretty good. Index page is a bit empty but obviously you'll fill it with more stuff. I recommend changing the 'siimple-background--navy' division's height to 80px because it makes it look better. The thick border on the bottom is a little wonky.

that's a possible way they've been getting into accounts then. if you used the same passwords for BLF and this website, the owner of that site has your login info here. change your passwords.

We don't store login info; all passwords are bcrypt encrypted and we do not do anything malicious.
Any malicious activity done on our site (or related to) results in punishment, and we try to sort it out as quickly and effectively as possible.

Yeah, I just thought I'd come to clear the air.

i don't sense any ill-will in this site, however, i still am interested in who the guy leaking it is and why he is actively browsing our forums.
i presume it is a former member of our community but it's hard to be sure where he got the passwords from.

word of advice: blacklist dox / IP / Leak related vocabulary

Believe me, I'll try to do all I can to stop anything malicious going on over there.

ok, last question then:

where did all the popularity for your site come from, and how old is the site? i googled brick hill and looked up other sources and couldn't find anything.

how did you network yourself

I started it back in March to make a Blockland/Lego game with me and my friends, pic related:

But when the whole Bloxcity thing came around, then stuff like Graphictoria and Nobelium started popping up, I remembered my love for those kinds of sites and it became more of a nostalgia based thing.

The whole game itself is coded in GameMaker 8.1, so was definitely not meant to be a big thing.

The 'popularity' came from word of mouth, I guess. Someone posted it on Roblox's forums a few hours ago, and I saw it was posted it here (hence our big red banner). I definitely didn't want Brick Hill to become another Bloxcity.

would you confirm or deny that your site is a literal rip of old roblox stuff? the people bloxcity seemed keen to establish, "we are nothing like roblox!!!!"

additionally, i would like to know if you had any prior involvement with bloxcity

I had an account on Bloxcity, but was never officially related to staff or moderation.

And I will firmly state that Brick Hill is solely inspired from Blockland and Roblox (you'll get the Blockland part if you ever use the workshop or play the game).
I definitely do not deny that it is a rip off, but my intentions are pure.

No, it's purely for enjoyment. All money is routed back into the site for hosting costs, etc, and I'd like to hope it's been made clear we are very independent from them.
