I'm sure this has what you're looking for: http://orbs.daprogs.com/rtb/forum.returntoblockland.com/dlm/viewFilec1fb.html?id=209

Yeah, exactly. My goodness, my search skills are seriously awful.
Thank you, Soretooth.

So, well. I have been wondering if there are any made enhancements to the event GUI. I don't know what the rest thinks, but sometimes the GUI is kinda annoying. For example, let's say I make a whole bunch of events, 20-30 and now I realized somewhere between 13 and 14 I forgot to add a specific event. So, yeah. I'm forgeted and I have to re-do all the events in that range again, except if there's some secret way I don't know of yet.

What I really would like is a feature of swapping events by using your mouse. Let's say we have the following:

Event 1: ---
Event 2: ---
Event 3: ---

Now I want Event 3 and Event 1 to switch places. So, you simply could press on the Event 3, hold the mouse button and move the field (Event 3) over Event 1. Letting off from your mouse button on field Event 1 would then result in Event 1 and Event 3 swapping places. So, basically Event 1 now contains the events from Event 3, and Event 3 contains now events from Event 1.

Should this feature exist already, then it would be nice if someone could send me a link to it because I have been searching for something like this quite a while and couldn't find something going into that direction. DrenDran's Advanced Event GUI (in case someone might link me to this) unfortunately doesn't seem to work properly anymore.

Still don't get how people can adore him or even consider to vote him. I guess the hermetic principle of "As Above; So Below" now makes sense. (Srry for offensing all us citizens) Here in Germany it's also getting worse. AFD and other right-wing (in the context of sympathizing with neo-national socialistsm ideas) Yesterday, some douchebags seriously tried to set a refugee accommodation in our near on fire. Wtf is going on with the world.

Outpact is a laughable fool. Too bad that he never will reach anything valuable in his life. Good thing that he and his comrade got a revoke. Serves him right.

General Discussion / Re: Is learning TS useless?
« on: May 16, 2015, 01:23:20 PM »
on a side note, any good interactive tutorials for learning C++? I'd LOVE to learn that.

Personally I hate video tutorials for C++. Each to their own, but I seriously hate it. Books ftw.
The problem we encounter here on books however is, that there are not many good C++ books. I often see books which advertise how good you can learn C++ with them just to be later disappointed again and you actually learned nothing about object-oriented programming because some authors are somehow C drug addicted and never made use of C++'s features.

I can recommend you a good one, which is C++ Primer 5th Edition here:
http://www.amazon.com/Primer-5th-Edition-Stanley-Lippman/dp/0321714113

I believe (in case you don't want to buy it) it's also somewhere freely available (although it's illegal, so I can't link it) on the Internet.

To your original question:
Learning TorqueScript is not useless if you want to make mods for Blockland (or eventually use the Torque3D engine for creating a game yourself, then it also might be good idea to know how to script). Also, it can improve your general knowledge about coding (like you get to know what loops, variables, methods, etc. are) and be a good "beginning step" to later start learning a real programming language and it may make it a bit easier for you.

Good luck.

DLL injections;

http://cajetan-tools.square7.ch/?page_id=4

Yes, that's my site. The DLL wasn't supposed for cheating like BLHack, but more a try of enhancing the gaming experience. I tried implementing some features from Garry's Mod and was highly motivated, wrote a kind of "VCE Compiler" (written a lexer and parser in C++) which compiles the code you wrote in notepad to binary, which the DLL later reads in-game. I wrote a tutorial about it long ago:
http://cajetan-tools.square7.ch/?page_id=150

In the end, the DLL wasn't released anyway because it was full of bugs which I didn't want to fix. It was also totally useless, because it would never get public. (Read Badspot's license on this) So, I gave up on it.

To topic:
I don't have anything to do with the current situation. Just saying.
