I hate to tell you this but you're out of luck. Even if nothing happens, you will still be haunted by these memories for the rest of your life. You will never get a chance to apologize to the man and therefore you will always be felling guilty about this. You can drink all you want but you will never be able to forget this. You are always guilty. Even when you are having fun this memory will be in the back of your head and never let you enjoy yourself. I feel sorry for you.

The combined salary of my parents is over 100 grand, but we get raped up the ass by taxes and struggle to pay some bills and stuff. We do have a bit of a higher standard of living than some other people though.
40k a year for a person living alone or with a spouse and 1 child could still be comfortable living as long as you know how to spend your money and chances are you'd be paying not too much in taxes with only a 40k salary. My dad has like a 37% income tax write now.

College for me would have been a real problem for us had I not received any sort of scholarship, getting to go for free is a big help.

Anyone going to go to a midnight launch (assuming they have one for Skyrim)?
I am going to either gamestop or walmart.
I think I'll be going to gamestop to ensure I get a preorder version of the game because I imagine that people at gamestop would be more attentive to such a thing then people at walmart.
I don't want a repeat of what I had to go through when I preordered Dragon Age 2 at Best Buy.

The statue alone is worth $300 dollars based on the average selling price from the company that makes it.
But who here would actually appreciate it for more than a short time?
YOu would just put it down where ever and look at it every once in a while until it became just another object in the room that collects dust.

Nice I attend UH.
Just out of curiosity, your profile says you are in Alaska. Is that bullstuff or does your family live there and you when you are not at college?
Texas is a long ways away from Alaska.

I'd hardly call an aside statement at the end of my post emphasis.
Just mentioning it at all was what I meant by emphasis.

The Art Institute of Pittsburgh is a low quality for-profit school. You can receive a cheaper and higher quality education at a public university.

Also, video game development is a horrible field to major in. What you learn in a video game program cannot be applied outside the field of video game design. With a regular computer science program you can focus on working on video games if you wish and receive a wider breadth in other fields of computer science. Also, video game design pays significantly less than other fields of programming and computer science and is far more competitive to establish a career.
I agree with this, but I don't like that you put emphasis on pay. You can make a good enough salary as a videogame developer to live comfortably, and most everyone in that field is there because they have a passion for doing it and don't care about the money so much.

I'm hoping to take classes on computer programming and stuff, then make video games as a hobby.
Although it is my dream job to be a game dev for Bethesda.

Does the main character have to do a monologue on the trailers?
The narration certainly sounded as if it would be the main character.
WIth the whole "i moved here to escape the life, but you know how it goes" thing that he basically said.

Otis is our friendly neighborhood child enthusiast, what's not to like?
I agree with this. Even though I think you are being sarcastic.
