However your companions can't.
companions are for weaklings

Could you please draw this girl from your other comic but with her smiling and remove the "mommy im scared" please?
Wait, is it a girl? Anyway just give her a blue shirt or something like that. And in avatar size, please.

that'd be really easy to edit in a basic image manipulation program.
Just rotate the smile and color in the shirt.

I got to the top of the outpost in DSTC, through the music/harmony thing hallway, and now I'm stuck

I see a transmission chest on the other side of that lava on the bottom floor but I can't find anything to open the water pipe with

also I fired one of those giant missile turrets, or at least I pressed a button inside one, not sure what happened

I laughed, make sure you jump off the walkway when you get to the switch at the top during the pump puzzle too
when you get through the music hallway(you mean the one with the colored blocks that plays the song at the end right?) you will end up being somewhere with a janitor's log thing, it has a button that opens the water gate thing.

I like SCII but I'm really bad at it, so I stick to singleplayer, unless I'm playing with friends when it doesn't matter.

When is Heart of the Swarm supposed to come out?

Because games are so much more fun when enemies take one hit to kill and you take fifty.
no
but enemies that take 10 hits to kill when you take like 15 and there are a couple of those enemies around it is.

Stop loving pegging me for a guy who plays stuff on easiest difficulty and stuff like that. I like a challenge, just not a near insurmountable challenge.

The point of the difficulty is so you actually have to try.
I don't mind trying but, "Die in 2 hits from pretty much everything" seems way overpowered on the enemies' part. " die and go back about 30 minutes, lose all your XP, and reset all the monsters." sounds terrible to experience, especially when it is over and over again. Which seems to be the case, based on "I think I have died at least 100 times and I am only about 30 minutes in the game if I were to not have ever died, but it took me like 5 hours to get there."

Well, it is divided up by areas, but they aren't chapters, and most of the areas you just walk to and it doesn't go to any loading screen.

There's also different pathways to different areas, some guarded by bosses and some are through secret walls.
You can go back to anywhere you want as well.
oh ok
sounds good.
this game looks very nice aesthetically, by the way. Everything about it seems good but I still don't like the idea of how difficult it is. I guess I could get used to it.

Either way, I'm on top of the building again jumping around in this tree like a mentally challenged monkey with no clear path in sight
you have to climb on a vine or treebranch, whatever it is. Then eventually loop around to the building that had a broken staircase in front of it.

also, Have they added the improved fence collision box thing in the newest prerelease?

I meant level as the world space. "level design"

and the witcher has like individual areas which are open to run around in but you don't have access to the whole world at all times.
It was divided into chapters, chapter one was in one area, chapter two was in another but also you could go to another area, etc.

Bonfires are not savepoints. The game autosaves constantly.

Bonfires are for restoring health/flask, and doing many other things.

It's not open world but not exactly linear either.
Sounds like the Witcher, would it be accurate to say the level setup is also like the Witcher?

I've entered the password 3 times now and I die every time

I'm going to go another way that takes me to the other side that I found while I was exploring earlier which I don't think I should be able to get to, but what's up with that
oh wait
there is some other clue somewhere, I haven't found it but I read about it online. You have to do the password backwards. The guy who recorded the password had numerical dyslexia.

look at this picture for a while, the draw a creature
[img]http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/mediawiki/images/b/bc/Garden_of_Nurgle.jpg[/img
oooh if the op was actually trying to draw cool things that could be very interesting.

Oh, didn't realize those were doors, they need to make that more obvious :I
Yeah, I only found it out because I was randomly right clicking on stuff to find the way.

Earlier in the topic you mentioned getting to the next bonfire.

I assume those are save points which brings about the question: Is the game open world or linear?
