You guys are sitting here talking about your feelings and how bad they're hurt when you kill someone in a videogame. The only thing that comes to mind is;Artificially intelligent NPCs have feelings, too, Beachbum. Don't disregard them. :c

That's a loving stupid ideology to take and you know it. The only reason you even entertain this lunatic's ideas is because you desperately uphold your reputation of being kind and neutral when really all you're doing is mulling over the arguments of a man who has no desire to actually convince anyone of anything, but instead wants to seem edgy and profound by disagreeing with everything. The only reason I was upholding Taboo's 'argument' (Though I was really holding up a general philosophy more than anything.) was because he held a valid point and you shot it down quickly because you thought that it was sadistic and because of his own individual actions. I'm not trying to make an issue or convince you of anything, just presenting it in a way that maybe you'll understand better or accept more from a 3rd party.
redundancy doesn't excuse this kind of sadistic ideology. What do you mean? Sadistic implies he wants innocent children to be harmed and enjoys the idea. I think the approach he is taking is more so indifference. I guess it goes with the old maxim that if the world won't stop for us, why should we stop for it. And though I agree that ignoring happenings in the world will rarely lead to good, that it is important to learn from the world around you, and that empathy must be extended to all members of mankind, at the same time we have to understand that not everything can be solved by a matter of desire. And while we shouldn't always wait for others to solve issues, we have to decide what issues we approach.
'Not sure if you're being sarcastic or just you.... :o
Although I disagree with Taboo, what seems to be his philosophy isn't unlike that of many others. Sure, he's more open about it, but at the end of the day, what are a number of people who watch this video going to do? Yes, it increases awareness, but so what? Everyone in the world can be aware of something, but that doesn't mean anything will change. Many probably won't even remember this until it makes it into the mainstream news a few weeks from now and even then it is a long shot they will be anymore mindful to it. Taboo simply decides to exist in the world he immediately experiences, instead of being a bystander to a larger spectrum every once in a while to say "How sad" and then continue on. And as long as he doesn't try to be hip and edgy about it, there isn't anything wrong with that view.
