How has this garnered 311 pages? What could anyone possibly talk about for 311 pages?

You know, they say a good politician is one who can talk for hours and never actually say anything of substance or importance. If this were true, the majority of the Blockland forums could be the US President by lunch time and Supreme Ruler of the Universe by sunset.

Just saying. :o

Totalitarianism!

I'm independent when it comes to my political views, though I have more conservative tendencies than liberal ones.

Games / Re: Vindictus (aka Mabinogi Heroes) (YEAH AGAIN UMAD)
« on: July 28, 2011, 04:20:36 PM »
I gave it another shot, its no where near as fun of a game as mabinogi, Vindictus lacked execution, just like APB.
Mabinogi has many more elements of an RP than Vindictus does, it has a much bigger more open world, and its skill system far exceeds Vindictus's in...everyway. However, the fact it was so slow gameplay/story wise, killed it's good points (At least for me). Mabinogi was completely based on point-and-click. Yes, there was many pretty things to look at and a lot of things to do, but when it boiled down to it, nothing mattered all that much. Whether you were fighting a goblin or shearing a sheep or even walking, you did the exact same thing. Clickclickclickclick and every once in a while you would press a button to mix things up. Don't get me wrong, it was and still is a good game, but the creators seemed to just be copying certain other mutiplayer RPs that were popular at the time.

That being said, one of the only thing Vindictus does have going for it is the gameplay aspect itself (Once again, at least for me). The skill/ranking/whatever system is a mess, to be blunt, and the classes being so very restricted and character-based completely takes out any role playing aspect there is (Granted, though, its not so much an RP as it is a fighting game thing). It's hard to believe that any of the AI characters care all that much about you in particular when you can walk out on the street (Which, by the way, I was upset to find that they didn't make any interiors at all but instead just gave us a picture of a room that rocked back and forth...good art, though) and see three dozen more of you with just different names...But I think that is more of a equality issue/marketing ploy in that, by one view, there is no one dominant player because each can only be skilled in one aspect and, by another, influences you to spend all your money and then rob an old lady for her's so that you can by customisable hair for your character (Capitalism strikes again!).

They are independent games, but each game does have aspects that would mesh well to each other. Vindictus's fighting system and gameplay style, and Mabinogi's...everything else. But in the end, they wanted to keep a steady stream playing Mabinogi while also opening its doors to a new audience. Which is, of course, their choice enti-

I mean...

What's "Vindictus"? :o

Really?
That interesting.
I can't type without my right hand. I was taught how to type in Junior school, and I've learnt it to the extent that my right hand always controls the right of my keyboard.
I even keep my fingers in the "safety/default" position.

Fingers on left hand are arranged (From little finger to index) on A, S, D, F. Occasionally, I keep little finger on Left Shift for easy shifting.
Fingers on the right hand are arranged (Index to little finger) on J, K, L, ;.
Occasionally that twists though, depending on how I'm sat, so it's J, I, P, [. That way, my little finger is close to press backspace.
I learned the same way as you. However, I first learned how to type on a manual typewriter when I was younger, so positioning was key. If you didn't strike the keys in a certain way, your letters were too light or lopsided. But then when I learned how to key on a keyboard, I just found it more comfortable with one hand on the keyboard and the other on the mouse.

Interesting, though. We both learned similarly in youth and then our techniques grew apart. :o

I saw Mage on a server once.

He ignored me.

It made me sad. :3
:C

I don't try to ignore people. Sometimes I just don't talk very much on servers or I am working on another matter or something. It wasn't anything personal. I don't think so, anyway...Regardless, I'm sorry. :c

You know, the more I think of it, the funnier it is that this topic came up. I was just talking to Dissolve the other day that I've been feeling low lately and not quite myself. This cheered me up very much. Thank you everyone. You can't imagine how much it means to me.

My middle finger for the wheel and right-click, and my index for left-click. My mouse  exclusively gets my right hand, though, since I only type with my left. :o

Good Lord. 48 pages in one day ._.

As for me, I'm a Christian, Catholic by church, but I have my own perspectives and thoughts. Particularly in the power, importance, and essence of Love.
