As said, just try to use common sense. Be kind and stay out of trouble's way; Try to be frank with others, but certainly not rude as well. Ultimately it would be best to act as you would if you were person-to-person with these people. You never know what friendships may grow and what experiences you may gain here. c:

That plus Mothers are typically more responsible and or provide a better home for children than the fathers.  Plus, it's more common for a father to be abusive than a Mother to be abusive. Then again, when a Mother is abusive, that's typically harsher than when a father is. :o

Also, try talking to whomever leads or supervises the debate team, they should give you something to go by. Or try getting to a meeting; Watch one of their debates in person. You should know how their debate is formatted so that you'll be presenting properly.

It's repreesenting an argument in a friendly way; You would typically debate in order to prove or defend an idea. It isn't that complicated, really, it's just forming a case in the first place that proves a challenge.

Okay, might as well type this out, I don't really understand in what way the argument is constructed, or how much information I need, or anything really.

Debates are structed arguments. It is a give and take: a point, a counterpoint, a rebuttle, etc. But how they set it up in your school may differ. Some debates are just making points, others work off of one, others use factual based ideas, others use opinions.

I was just thinking about this in my head. My conclusion is this: One can never own land, one can only think they do and to that extent defend it. :o
