Off Topic / Re: My school is loving handicapped as richard

To everyone who is using the same books they used the previous years, isn't it possible that your school are cheap bastards?
Not all schools can afford new books. I know near myself (Near Colten, too, I'm sure. Like he said with all the budget cuts) many schools can hardly afford to keep running their standard programs, let alone getting new supplies and what not. Some schools focus on spending in other areas and merely buy books that can serve fine for five or ten years, as they should. If students take care of them, there shouldn't be much of an issue on passing it down.

Granted, things happen, accidents occur, books age. But for the most part, they should last. And when they are worn or no longer carry updated material needed (As in, new discoveries are made, new accomplishments, etc.), then new ones should be purchased. If they have the money, of course.

Also, many schools mean well for their students. Sometimes they do shift money around and certainly salary cuts in specific areas could greatly benefit the students, but that doesn't mean the school is cheap. They don't often really even have that much power to decide what they get and what they don't.

Hi magery. c:
Hiya! :D!

Whats with the all the ":o" faces?
Sometimes it's to show confusion. Sometimes I add it in as not to sound sarcastic or condescending. I don't mean to sound that way and I typically don't, but the ":o" acts as a good neutralizer so the post sounds normal (At least to me it does).

At this point, though, it's become a habit. My posts just look and sound different to me when I add them, and now that I've used it for so long and so much, some of my posts just seem odd without it. Not necessarily bad, but almost unfamiliar.  :o

At least you're not in Grade 11, having to do a grade 10 art class.

...full of handicaps. Literally, they put the disabled kids in with us, and one of them shouts random stuff for no reason at us.
Maybe that's part of his disability? :o

Notice the date when aliens come down to Earth, then look at the date when Religion died. I'm sure if this were to happen 60% of the Earths population would drop their religions, while other will call those aliens demons and try to wage a religious war on them.
Or maybe they would believe that the aliens are, too, creations of God, treating them with equal respect as they would with anyone.

That's assuming they are peaceful. And they find us. And they exist to the extent you're talking of. :o

Imagine alien culture mixing in with ours, their own Gods and idols coming down. Some might be based on science, while others will base on the big green monster who sneezed out the universe.

But I'd imagine they won't have a religion because they moved on to progress. So if they were to come here they would probably try to take away our silly belief systems and place us on the right path.

Religion has been a tool used to make most of the progress we have made, in one way or another. And in many ways, it was one of the first forms of science.

2066 Religion is banished from the world
I plan to still be around at this time, so I hope not. :o

But even so, wouldn't it be funny if it was, and many people still feel compelled to believe in it, so Atheists form special groups and begin burning books and destroying religious idols and what not. And slowly, but surely, the Theist population grows as Atheists say "Ha. Like they can do anything." And soon enough, new religions are formed based on old ones and through oral traditions. And then, Theists rise to power once more. But even so, people see what has happened over the last few years, and decide to continue to believe in Atheism, so Theists form  special groups and begin burning books and destroying anything pertaining to Anti-Theism and what not. Though slowly, but surely, the Atheist population grows......

dead antisemitists always do make the best leaders, eh?
He wasn't an antisemitic, he just didn't like Jews.  :cookieMonster:

That's greatly disputed, friend. He was associated with certain a antisemitic organization, yes, but that doesn't mean he himself was one. You also have to mind that much of that rumor came from the fact he was of German decedent at the time when they weren't looked too highly upon. Even so, his accomplishments and innovative creations have certainly helped carve much of what the world - or at least the field of entertainment - what it was and is. Granted, though, some while after his death, such began to decline. :s

Anywhom, but who would make a better president than a dead one? And one that is famous, too! :o

Why by that criteria, Ethel Merman could run! Or Frank Sinatra! Or Clark Gable!

I'm sure she means well. :o

But, in any case, I think Walt Disney would make a good president in 2012. c:

Its human nature to be spiteful and want revenge, thats just the way our minds work. (Except for few individuals)
It is in my belief that people are not born to be spiteful. One must learn to be such. :o

Also, survival and comfort are two different things. Killing to survive is reasonable. Killing because something bothers you or because it brings you a hallow joy isn't. It's murder.
