Drama / Re: EKSI IMPOSTER OMFG

I don't mind if she dislikes homoloveuals, it's just the fact that she was blatant and just put it out there like it was fact. An opinion is like a snake; you can be proud to have it, just don't shove it down someone's throat. I apologize for replying like an enormous richardhead.
Maybe she was saying that it is a shame she can't have him as her own? A compliment instead of an insult...

Either way, you did jump the gun a bit. Clarify things first, then tell someone to die in a hole. 'Just a suggestion. :u

What do you mean by "the light"?

If it's religious stuff, no thanks.
The source of light by which your room is illuminated.

Unless you just have a light bulb on the ceiling....

In which case, unscrew it and use it for something useful!

Am I the only one reminded of those old "escape the room" games. :o

Try searching the light, there is usually something in there, too.

Off Topic / Re: My grandmother is tearing our family apart.
« on: January 14, 2012, 03:39:02 PM »
My mum took care of my grandmother before she had died, while also taking care of my grandfather, two children, and holding up two jobs. My grandfather had a stroke, paralyzing him in half his body, meaning he couldn't do anything by himself, and aside from dementia my grandmother had a load of medical issues that hindered her everyday movements. Every single night my grandmum would hug my mum and compliment her, then would begin scratching and yelling at her for no reason but her mental state. Neither of her parents could eat, walk, or go to the bathroom by themselves and neither of them wanted to be alone. But she dealt with it every single day for 8 years without any help, excluding a nurse who visited a few hours on weekdays to watch them while she worked. :/

But then I guess everyone has a different sense of family and everyone has different situations. Just do be mindful that she still is family. There are people who never get to meet their grandparents and while some consider them to be lucky, it isn't always the case.

The guy saying true story in bottom-right kinda explains that it's fake.
It's still beautiful, regardless.
Even if it was just a story some one made up, or a joke someone was trying to pull, sometimes the content is stronger than the original intention. You never know if it's true or not, but it's the message that counts.

Recently I've played a lot, but I'm on and off usually. Though it's always nice to get at least an hour or two every week in.

Same time as it was planned in December, the ceremony starts around 4:00.
I don't think I'll be able to make it, then :U

I'm not free on Thursday until 8 or so.

He makes mistake all the time because he tries to use pretentious dialect and fails miserably at it.
My syntax is usually awkward, my vocabulary is sometimes dated, and my punctuation is horrid on most occasions. Over all, my grammar is just a string of verbs and nouns jumbled together as I think is nice with a few adjectives thrown in here and there. Of this I'm aware.

I don't think that is pretentious, I'm just typing how I speak. More often than not I get my point across when I'm trying to. It is an internet forum, after all, and I think I type reasonably enough for people to understand. But I won't derail the topic any further to defend myself on this. :/

If only she knew your forum identity. Why, between April and July you posted at least ten pictures of yourself! Surely that would have satisfied her/him/it.

But alas, no such luck does exist. Good luck! I hope they don't track you down and kill you or something that that like. C:

Amy white house
Do you mean Amy Winehouse? Because I don't think Obama lives in anyone named Amy. But then maybe does....Michelle might not be to happy about that, though. :U

And since when was she a forum-goer?

Does it actually say "7 days worth of food"? There's no way of determining how much food is a "days worth." I could eat less food a day averagely than someone else and vice versa.
But, we all see the connection there, right? Food storage is the first steps on the road to terrorism! One day they're eating a sandwich and the next they are out blowing up buildings.

As for the bill, I'm not really sure how to respond. From what it sounds and from what I've read, they are in a state of worry. Congress is probably afraid of a civil revolt that may develop from all the protests, so they are trying to ensure that anyone they classify as a threat can be easily and legally taken in. How vague it is could be abused, but at the same time it could be argued against and eventually overruled. Plus, there still is a chance that the Supreme Court will say something.
