Feminism is important in places where women don't hold equal rights to men - but in places like the US, the genders are pretty much equal save several fields and locations (Although this has been changing over time). Personally, I believe women should have equal rights to men and roles should be expanded beyond the small scope that are traditionally held. Although chivalry and gallantry are still nice and should be practiced. 'Just the courteous thing to do.

The Myan Calender was made way before our calender was made. So the myan version of 2012 could have already passed by. I'm not sure where people get this information that our calender and the myan one are the same thing, because they aren't.

No; the Mayan calendar is much different than ours, but the long count "ends" on a date that coincides with the 21st of December, 2012. However, what people seem to forget is that the Mayan calendar is a giant circle. It has no end. The next B'ak'tun will simply begin and the calendar resets itself.

To live, to change, to enjoy, and to Love. That's more of a principle, though, than a meaning...hm...I suppose life is what one makes of it, as are the reactions to the events that take place. The best we can do is appreciate that we are alive and not idly allow that blessing to pass us by.
