Hey, this is awesome, but I need to report that I set it to "only spawn at night" and he spawns in the day.
I do not have daylight cycle on as I manually set it to day and night.
Yeah, the pref only works with day/night cycle. You'll have to manually enable/disable Render in other cases.

Does he still make your ears bleed?
Nope, no more ear bleeding in this version.

I mean a pref for the face used in Chrisbot6's mod or the face used in this mod, cause the other smile face is way creepier imo
I'm not sure... the face in this mod is the original "Renderman" face. People have different opinions on this, but I don't think making a preference is the best solution.

Yes. This is a completely new mod (not an edit of Support_Rendermen), so none of that is in this version.

Render
Renderman is a mysterious entity that haunts Blockland. Over the years, this entity has become increasingly intelligent... and increasingly deadly.

The Glitch Detector

Introducing the newly-upgraded Glitch Detector 2.0! This tool will alert you to the presence of Render by measuring glitch energy. It has one weakness, however; Render can passively observe you without being detected.


The Glitch Gun
(Help wanted; need a model for this)
This state-of-the-art device was invented during an experiment with glitch energy. Upon use, a glitch gun will repel Render, shattering the gun in the process. Not much else is known about this device or if there are other uses of the technology.


Glitch Shrines

The Glitch Shrine is a brick that you can place in your builds to passively repel Render. Glitch Shrines have the appearance of a Jack-o-lantern.

You can turn a shrine off by using a wrench on it and unchecking "Raycasting" in the menu. You can also do this with events!


Detector Bricks

These are special bricks that trigger onRelay when Render is nearby. You can use these to make automated alarm systems and other things.


Events
You can configure Render's behavior using events! To use them, you need to create a minigame. They only work if you are the mini-game owner.

  • MiniGame -> setRenderInvincibility
  • MiniGame -> setRenderMode
  • MiniGame -> setRenderSpawnRate


What's New
This is an entirely new Renderman mod built from the ground up. Here's a brief list of what sets it apart from previous mods:
  • Improved AI and movement; Render navigates your builds rather than teleporting through them.
  • New, original sound effects created specifically for the mod.
  • No more loud "BEEEEP" sound. You may now safely turn up your volume.
  • No more "kick players" pref.
  • A new and improved detector. (See above)
  • Fixed a bug with the spawn rate; you no-longer need to adjust it when more players join.
  • Updated shrine bricks.
  • Added Tag Mode, a mode of play where Render does damage by touch instead of by FOV.
  • Tons of bugs and issues fixed.


Development
I have plenty of plans for improvements! This mod will continue to receive updates for the foreseeable future.

It still says "Welcome to the Glass Live private beta!" when I join chat. Also, I think you should add an option to hide the "x entered the room" and "x left the room" messages.



I encountered some (mostly minor) issues while using the mod manager:
  • In the "my add-ons" tab on the mod manager, clicking the gear next to an add-on and then clicking "OK" echoes "callback" in the console.
  • Searching for add-ons in the mod manager echoes all results in console.
  • Pasting text into the search bar doesn't work. (Side note: The search bar otherwise works great. I really like how quick and convenient it is.)
  • Opening an add-on's page echoes "GlassModManagerGui Resize" in the console.
  • The game lags when you drag the mod manager window around.
  • In the Colorsets tab, dragging the window causes the list of color sets to move slightly. This also applies to the text on the "my add-ons" tab.
  • Large add-on boards are somewhat difficult to navigate because you can only move one page ahead at a time. This is more noticeable on larger boards such as "server mods". This will likely become more of a problem as the number of add-ons grows.
  • After rating an add-on, clicking OK on the message box echoes "callback"
  • You get an API error if you go to the sounds board and click the blank add-on.
  • While viewing an add-on, you cannot scroll if your mouse is over the comment text box.



Overall, I like Blockland Glass. It's good to finally have a working replacement for RTB. You're doing a great job so far!

I'm getting the same error mentioned above, but it's happening even if I haven't opened the server list.

Also, switching tabs echoes "tab found, no need continue" in the console and leaving a room echoes "callback".

One more thing: I don't think these extra chatrooms will be used very often. Even when RTB Connect was around, hardly anybody even joined the other rooms. I would suggest keeping everything in one "General" room unless this gets a huge number of users.

I just updated this so it's less glitchy. If tool scrolling seems a bit weird with the old one enabled, try re-downloading the add-on.

I also added version.txt in case I need to change anything else.
