Off Topic / Thinking of writing a book

I'm thinking of writing a book. I'm really imaginative so I bet it would be really good, I just have one problem, I failed English in school (which I re-took and passed later in college)
Anyone 18+ have experience with creative writing?
Please, if you're below the age of 18, I don't want to know about how you once got an A one time on your paper in 5th grade.

I already have a REALLY good idea and a synopsis written down, I am reading Game of Thrones at the same time to try and work out how to write well lol

Off Topic / I met 'Hot Pie' from Game of Thrones last night

It was about 1:30am last night (or this morning, whichever way you look at it) and I was walking two girls home. On our way to the bus stop, I instantly recognised Hot Pie. Went over to him and had a casual chat. As an actor myself, we talked a bit about agencys, game of thrones, directors which we've worked with, and so on. He was a cool guy, most actors are complete starfishs, but this guy wasnt. He said he is in the process of writing a film, so I gave him a little "well you know, if you're looking for someone my height/looks/awesomeness, you can always ask me ;)" He then told me to add him on facebook, and then we got the bus home together.
It was quite an amusing night because we were both stufffaced.
Anyway, I hope this thread is a bit more relevant instead of the standard topics on OT, "my cat just died" or "I grazed my knee"

General Discussion / Furdle's New Super Secret Project

I'll start this topic by apologising, This will be the future topic of the project when I release more information about it, but for now I am using it to recruit some builders.
As many of you know, I am currently directing the project, Red Block Redemption with my clan, SPO.

This project is going very well and will soon be publicly released.
I am going to keep this short, because I don't want to release much information, but in 2014 I want to host a new game mode, however I am calling on the help of non-SPO members!
SPO is a clan which prides itself on very detailed builds, creating beautiful builds, but time and brick consuming for the space which is created.
I am looking for some builders with the "blank" style. I am not requesting help directly from the following, I am just using them as an example of the build type I am looking for,

-Sylvanor
-Khain
-Wehrmacht
-Legodude77
Once again, I am not requesting help from any of these builders (although, I would accept help from three or four of the above)
If you think you do qualify for the building style in which I am looking for, please PM me or reply on this thread.

This is an idea I have had for a while, and would love to see it being made.
The reason I am asking for help is because I can't build the style, so I am looking to build along side veterans in the style to improve my skill in this style and produce the game mode.

Off Topic / A small suggestion for blockland forums.

I obviously know that suggestions to improve the Blockland forums are never listened to by Badspot.
However, I do have an idea which would actually make it a little more user friendly.
My idea, is to have a "notification", like when you get a new personal message, which tells you if you've been quoted in a post.
This would make it easier than going through every single thread you've posted in, in the last week to find if anyone's replied.
Badspot, I highly doubt you'll add this feature, but I'm sure it'd make people's lives a little bit easier.

I am looking at getting a motorbike,
I got a bit of money saved up so I am looking at getting a 125cc
I know nothing about motorbikes, if someone could tell me some good websites which sell good bikes? or maybe tell me a good 125cc bike?
Try to recommend bikes which you know are available in the UK

It's sort of like college humour.
The producer asked me to write one
I don't know what to do
I will dig through the purposely stuffty suggestions until I find a good one
I would also probably give you money depending how good the idea is.

I apologise for this, I wrote most of it while drunk.
1880, The capture of Eastwood shook the county of New Austin. Pass, the leader of the New Austin Republic, usually known as the NAR, over threw the town after the assassination of the old mayor, Tokerovin. Some say Tokerovin's fall was a conspiracy, and the assassination was authorised by the NAR, others say that Tokerovin is in hiding, deep in the hills.
Many years later, in 1883 a government train passes through the county supplying some northern American settlements with unique gold plated weapons.
A great heist took place by the infamous Mr Nobody. The shady heist expert now lives as a travelling merchant, with shady intentions. However, this heist expert is not as good as legend tells,
after the greedy robbery of the golden weapons, his work becomes sloppy, and accidentally collapses the Chipwood mine, which Paradon, the drunken prospector was working in. With his legs crushed, he was forced to have them amputated,  resulting in Paradon gaining two peg legs. As the law's grip on Mr Nobody tightens, he sells his weapons to Pass the mayor after Furdle joins Pass as business partners.
After five years, five good years in the slavery business owned by Furdle, the business partners broke into the millions, becoming the two most wealthiest people in New Austin. Pablo the famous French film maker arrives in Eastwood, creating a contract to film a motion picture in the town as Pass invests in Pablo's company. Meanwhile Swollow, leader of the bandits, gathers his band of thieves, murderers and rapists in the outskirts of town, waiting to strike and do what his father never could... Capture Eastwood.
The current day is 1890, and its your turn to make history!

   Furdle: The Slave Driver
An extremely rich man, owning most of the slaves in the state, he makes his living by buying and selling slaves.
   Pass: The Mayor of Eastwood
Born into a rich family, he always had a greed for what he wanted. 10 years ago, upon stumbling onto the town of Eastwood, he decided to seize the town for his own.
   Mr Nobody: The Shady Peddler
The travelling merchant has been in business all of his adult life. It is said he discovered a cache of golden weapons and sold them to some rich folk in the hills. No one knows where he stores his wealth, or why the rich travelling merchant still operates.
   Paradon: The Drunken Prospector
Usually found in the local saloon, the bearded miner is said to be one of the best. Unfortunately he lost both of his legs in a horrible mining accident when a cave collapsed while he was inside. Still, it doesn't stop him from spending his paycheck at the end of the week chugging down moonshine at the towns watering hole.
   Swollow: The Bandit Leader
Passed down from his father, he has always known he will lead the bandits. Banished from the state, he lead his band of henchmen to the outskirts of town, there lies his small kingdom, Fort Ballin
   Pablo: The Film Producer
Travelling all over the state, he searches to cast the main role in his new motion picture film. He now travels to the town of Eastwood on an important business meeting with the mayor to invest in his latest project.
   Tokerovin: The Old Mayor of Eastwood
Assassinated by an anonymous shooter, nobody knows why Tokerovin was killed. Some say he is still in hiding.

Off Topic / Help! Should I take this job??

Okay to start off let me explain my current position. I am 18 living in the outskirts of London and have finished all my education. I have no job but I do have a savings account with £2500 (about $2750)

I just went to a job interview as a surveyer. The job is walking around town with a clipboard getting women to fill out a survey. The job has no steady pay, I would recieve £1 for every surey filled out ($1.25)
I am not desperate for money, but I do need a job. I have already been given the job but if I chose to accept, my manager would be a man the same age as me, who thinks he is ballin' and is a bit of a ballbag.
The thing is, I could get a job with a steadier pay and not walking around in the town in the cold, asking people to do surveys, which let's face it, is a degrading job. The people in the interview were all mainly idiots and I left early saying I had something else to do.

Really not sure what I should do, should I take this job or not? I think it's worth mentioning that my father also gives me £77 a month (about $100) which I spend on alcohol, drugs and ciggeretts.
Next year I plan to move to New Zealand with my best friend and live out there, which I will have enough for. What should I do?!

Options:
-Take the job, face humiliation for little money in the cold
-look for a new job, working in retail
-sloth away in my bedroom on blockland and GTA until I go to New Zealand and sell things on eBay.

Drama / Sylvanor impersonating Diggy

As of yet, I have no proof to this matter, although I will collect some as the thread continues.

I have reason to believe that Sylvanor has purchased Diggy's blockland ID and name, and now is using it to re-host Diggy's Metropolis RP.
Diggy and his friend Ministry (the party who sold the ID to Sylvanor) are now trying to reposes the key as they are not happy with his plans.
As I said, I haven't much proof, but I assure you, I have spoken to Sylvanor about it (around 4 months ago, the time when he bought the key) where he admitted that he DID buy a 3rd party key.
You may notice that 'Diggy's' server is up, which is infact Sylvanor posing as Diggy.

I believe that Sylvanor does not deserve the right to be an admin in one of Diggy's server, let alone steal the map, mod and title.
