That's the problem with Gmod, if they had just fixed it so that the client removed all existing ragdoll movement axis limitations posing would be much easier for people who are excellent at it and to whom the quality of the poses actually matterI literally spent 45 minutes trying to get Zoey to realistically hold the hunting rifle but every time her arm would spazz out because it kept trying to turn with the hand. That's why it's so straight.
I'm going to assume that L4D ragdolls are rather rigid? I wouldn't know since I don't have L4D content in any way shape or formActually they have a lot more joints, but have the same limitations as all ragdolls.
