Jesus, even i can play it almost lagg free.
The only lagg i get is because of my crappy internet.
Lucky person. :/
Hey, who-hoo. New, updated list.
-r_maxdlights 8
-r_dynamic 0
-fog_enable 0
-r_3dsky 0
-mat_grain_enable 0
-mat_disable_bloom 1
-r_shadows 0
-r_decals 10
-r_waterDrawreflection 0
-r_waterDrawrefraction 0

Ugh.
Edit: I found the autoexec.cfg (It was in steamapps/common/Alien Swarm/swarm), and put all of these in there, but it didn't seem to work. When I went into the console and started typing any of the commands, the suggestions box came up with the command, folowed by the variable I don't want. Such as, r_3dsky 1 instead of r_3dsky 0.

I'm level 22 with every kit maxed out except the gay loving assault pack
Level... 24? Maybe? All packs maxed. C:
Thanks, Hugums. I thought the Alt. pack did something to the UAV. I love the Alt. pack.

think you answered youre own question to be honest
Yeah, but I still need a way to auto-run all of the commands when AS starts.
@bob: Again, not a problem now. Still need a way to auto-run them.

UAV: Left bumper to go up, left trigger to go down. Right bumper for minigun, right trigger for missile.

If you need all those, then you seriously need a better computer. My computer's not that great, and I can run it fully maxed out :|
I know, or at least a better card. But still, anyone have any way I can auto-run those commands?

Yeah, the resolution change worked perfectly. But I still need a bunch of console commands to be entered every time I play. Is there any way to get to an autoexec.cfg? Putting the codes into the Launch Options didn't seem to work.

Edit: These are the commands I used, if anyone wants them:
r_3dsky 0
Mat_grain_enable 0
Mat_disable_bloom 1
r_shadows 0
r_decals 10 (Yeah, that's 10. Not a typo)
r_waterDrawreflection 0
r_waterDrawrefraction 0

But then it looks all smushed. 1440x900 perfectly fits my monitor.

:I
Thanks.
What might be a major command? Someone said that mat_disable_bloom 1 would help a lot.

Hey, I just installed Alien Swarm, which looks like an amazing game, but thanks to my crap graphics card, I can hardly play it. I've put in -dxlevel 81 (into launch options), I've put everything graphics-related at the lowest level, but it still runs a bit slower than I'd like. It's almost playable, but I was wondering if there were any console commands to help this. Any thanks would be appreciated!

I don't know. I just decided I wanted free stuff during the summer, and half-jokingly told my mom we should celebrate half-birthdays. July 16th, she calls me into the kitchen, and my family was there with marble cake and a $40 ThinkGeek gift card. I was like, "what."
Edit: Ace, I've got a small desk area, and I actually prefer Trackballs. I actually wish there was a higher variety, maybe with Mouse4, Mouse5, etc. buttons.

The mouse is awesome, but it needs to be a trackball.
The keyboard looks like a step down from the Cyborg...

@Miga - If I were going to a store, I'd definitely consider it. But I ordered it off of ThinkGeek. Blue/Purple/Red sounds better than amber/orange/red/green, though. I like the darker colors...
@Nick - Yeah, well, I'm hoping. 50 bucks and a $40 gift card went into it.
