Blockland's FOV functions are kind of weird and broken, so there is that.
I don't hate it, but i am also not the biggest fan of them myself, but to each their own right?

For the companies, it makes sense. They want to milk the most money out of it, so they take certain exclusivity deals (see: epic games store exclusive games) or just space them out so much with a couple of small improvements for each platform that they can sell the people the game multiple times (see: GTA V).
For the consumers, it is bad. I think people would prefer to have the choice how to play it instead of being forced to buy it somewhere because it only releases on that platform (for a long time).

Personally i am really opposed to exclusivity deals, but can understand that some platforms will be supported later down the line due to porting reasons and the like.
But unnecessary exclusivity is just bad practice in my opinion.
I would prefer games to be on multiple platforms, so everyone can enjoy them regardless of their choice of platform. Also, i don't want to buy a console that gets obsolete within a year or two.

20-sided dice would be useful for those D&D roleplay servers i have seen every once in a while.

Yeah, basically based on that one.
Right now it still prevents fall damage when you deploy it just before hitting the ground.
I will work on an update to let the user still take fall/impact damage and an option to disable that (for those who want a bit more old school parachute behaviour, probably a scale for fall damage).

this is what we have needed for years, THANK YOU! i am so glad there is a parachute that de-equips when you hit the ground!!!
Mainly why i made this.
I had that idea since i used the original Parachute add-on.

Update available through Dropbox!
The update is still pending approval on Glass.

Noticeable changes:
* Item name changed from "parachute" to "Parachute Pack".
* More aircontrol and less drag (fall faster but move more freely in the air).
* No-remove option more stable now, had a high risk to crash users/hosts due to some technical issues.
* StartParachute and StopParachute events can now be used on bots as well!

Based on the original mod, "Item_parachute", which was modeled by Pandan-MtnDew and scripted by Aloshi.
Original mod not required.

This mod uses the same models from the original parachute add-on, but has a completely revised script and mechanics.
New features:
  • Using the parachute Item will now mount you to an invisible bot.
  • No more changing datablock when you use the parachute.
  • Plays the sitting animation while parachuting.
  • Your parachute can be broken by being shot.
  • Use Right-Click to remove your active parachute.
  • Touching the ground or vehicles removes your active parachute.
  • Crashing into something (somehow) removes your active parachute.
  • Landing in water removes your active parachute.
  • Using the parachute item (succesfully) removes it from your inventory. (Glass Preference to toggle this feature on/off.)
  • Events added for the Player target to start and stop parachuting.

Bug reports and feedback are always welcome, but i cannot guarantee that i will update this often.
If you find a bug, please tell me how to reproduce the issue. :)

Most of the animation sequences are a direct copy/paste from the base model. However to get that crumbling effect I have to hide every node except for the ribs. Then I call a function that spawns a projectile that has debris datablocks on it, these debris datablocks are the other hidden nodes.

So pretty much the death animation is still there but everything except the ribs are hidden, you can see how it works right here.

Right, sorry, don't want to overburden you with requests.
I completely forgot how the crumbling worked from the skeleton death add-on.
It would be cool to see the sitting animation idea still, but i can fully understand if you don't.
Just know that it looks fun already. Love the dooting skeleton.

Not so sure about the bone meal item, maybe a bottle of calcium instead (just a pills bottle with calcium printed on it or something).
Calcium skeleton memes sort of exist. Then again, hammering home the Minecraft reference is not a bad idea.

Only one hat has been changed with a custom hat, but most of the original customizable parts should be there, minus the torsos and pants.
Seems good, all that i expect at minimum from a quality default-like playertype.
The battledroid playertype had the hat and other parts as well, which was really nice, so i am happy to hear this skeleton bot will as well.
I'm not too sure about making that 2nd suggestion with the sit animation since it might be too confusing to work with, but I'll see to it.
The death animation looks like it falls apart right?
Does it end with a frame with the parts on the ground? Then i think the death animation could be used instead, so the sit animation can just be normal.

Not sure what more to add to these skeleton bots really.
As long as they got all the nodes normal blockheads have (hat or accessory wise), that should be alright.
Maybe, very maybe, the sit animation being it lying on the floor in pieces, then again, the death animation can just be played on bots to surprise people with that.
(Include a brick looking like the skeleton crumbled down to confuse people thoroughly?)
