you could just hook the duplicator functions duplicate the said brick delete it and then set the players current brick in brick inv to the named brick, so that wherever they shoot it its the same brick they copied and then they can plant it, if they don't plant it and switch bricks or hit numpad 0 then replace the brick back where it was
