If you enclosed that area to keep your cat out it could make quite the suitable home, of course i'm no bio/zoologist.

Very old story, but I thought it would be funny if I brought it back up.
So Basically a Parakeet truck was about to bring some parakeets to a pet store, but the truck got into a car crash. Parakeets flew everywhere in the neighborhood it crashed in and populated in the neighborhood. I saw a nest or two when I drive past the neighborhood once in a while. These tropical birds somehow populated in this suburban neighborhood in New York.
