Off Topic / My brother is an idiot
« on: August 29, 2009, 06:41:43 PM »
So, about a week ago, he tells me the computer has a virus. "I was just on deviantart and this virus scan thing popped up and I tried hitting alt f4 but it did nothing don't get on the computer!!!!". He told me not to get on the computer, he said he was going to fix it and didn't want me to interfere. A few days later, I turn on the computer, and surprise, surprise, nothing was wrong. He sees me on the computer and somehow makes me do the virus and spyware scan. Again, nothing there.

A day later, the same damn thing happened. "I HAVE STUFF ON MY DEVIANTART ACCOUNT I WANTED TO SEE IF IT WAS POPULAR!", "BUT ALEX I COULD HAVE BEEN ON THE FIRST PAGE". I told him I'm not doing the scans again, and if he wants the computer scanned, he'll have to waste four hours of his damned life for that to happen. He actually did instead of giving up like I suspected. Nothing on the computer, AGAIN.

Today, the same process repeat itself for a third time. Now I feel like blocking the deviantart website.

The older reviews are funnier than the newer ones. But they're all pretty funny in a way.

Discuss it

I don't know why it failed so horribly. It was a good system with good games and a lot of potential, but for some reason the whole console just fell flat on it's face only a year and a half after it's launch.

Toonroll
I know, Rickroll is an incredibly stupid and overused fad, but it was the only video on my harddrive I could find that wasn't a video of a game.

What do you think of the animation?

Modification Help / Sphere Maps?
« on: July 18, 2009, 12:12:14 PM »
I found a way of creating a cell-shading effect in Milkshape, But it uses sphere maps. Is there any way of having working sphere mapped models in Blockland/Torque?

I've wanted to have cell shaded vehicles for a long time, don't know why, though.

Off Topic / Can someone help me with finding a graphics card?
« on: July 16, 2009, 11:56:06 AM »
So, a few days ago was "Move crap into the new house" day. So, everything was fine, good, going as planned. but, someone set the computer brain net to some magnets. And, when started it up, nothing would show on screen. my brother took the side off of the computer and slid the graphics out. He told me to try it again, and sure enough, it worked.

So, my graphics card is corrupted and now I have an excuse to actually buy a decent one.

But, I don't really know anything about graphics cards. If I wanted to run recently released games on the medium graphics setting, what card and specs would do what I want it to do?

It has these

So far I've found two of these. One about the size of a quarter, and one the size of a penny.

They really fascinate me for some reason. I don't know if it's how they act or how the trick their prey into letting their guard down before jumping on it and killing it.

Annoying as forget spider bites.

A few days ago my arm got raped by a spider that wanted to make five itchy lumps near my elbow.

They were incredibly annoying. As long as nothing touched them, it would be fine. But, if I accidentally hit my arm on something I'd get a ten minute long itch-fest that nothing would stop (except waiting, of course).

Now, they are finally getting smaller. I just hope that loving spider can resist raping my arm again.
