BEANY'S TIPS FOR A VIRUS FREE GOOD TIME WITH YOUR COMPUTER
Download NoScript and AdBlock Plus addons for your webbrowser. No such thing for the web browser you currently use? Get a new web browser, because chances are you're using IE8 which sucks rooster.
Always have a good backup. Get an anti virus program and anti spyware program, BUT NO MOTHERloving NORTON. Also, don't go getting any free ones unless you know they're legit.
Alt F4 instead of clicking the X. If you somehow find yourself in a situation where virus popups are getting thrown at your face, DO NOT CLICK THE X. Press Alt and F4 at the same time to exit out.

Headphones give me a headache and ear pain
anyway, I suggest getting a pair of over-ear headphones. i use these for my tv, but you can usually get them for $20 at other places like amazon and walmart.
