How much are you paying for this?
$70

My school pays for the computer. The only thing I have to buy is the graphics card

But at some point, I have to give the computer back to the school :(

Get out of my loving topic, you have nothing constructive to add.

ON-TOPIC

Is Nvidia or ATI better?
I like Nvidia for their physx thing. Sure, it's useless in most cases. But it's still cool to have physx stuff in games like mirrors edge.

Games / Re: Does anyone play Roblox?

I tried Roblox because all the talk on the Blockland forums about it made me curious.

Nothing personal, go play what ever game you want, but I didn't like it. I just find Blockland easier and more enjoyable. But mostly I stopped playing because most of  the community was driving me crazy and I got banned for saying "f$ck". Yes, I took the time to remember to sensor it as to not violate the no cursing rule but they still banned me for three days.
Back in 2006, my brother went crazy in roblox and kept saying forget when there were a lot of people in ther server/place. I told him he'll probably get banned, so he sent an apology message to the creator of the game. He got a reply, and it said something like "You did violate the rules, but I guess I could make an exception. I can see you like roblox, and you don't want to get banned. Just don't do anything like that again, okay?".

Now you get banned for the slightest thing.

This is the one I'm getting. I'll get a GT220 graphics card for it, too.

I think that's the closest you'll get for the price you posted.

Started on roblox in 2006
Found RTB
Played both until retail came out
Got retail
Played retail and roblox until late 2008
Quit roblox
Played retail until RRTB came out
Played RRTB to this day

I would still play roblox if the community wasn't stuff. I was a good shirt/pants maker, too. I quit when some friends started stealing my stuff and claiming it as their own, and then got shunned by the community for stealing "their" shirts/pants.

GT220 is better than the 8400 GS but still is for like home computers.
I never really do much PC gaming, though. The only time I get a PC game that's also on the 360 is when the 360 version is crap/doesn't have a feature that the PC version has.

But still, it'll be nice to have a card better than the 8400.

Jesus loving christ, do research if you're not sure.
I did, but I'm still not 100% sure even though it was stated right on Nvidia's site. Go figure, I'm stubborn.

Yes, it will be better than an 8400 GS.
Awesome :D

asdf

That's a low end card for workstations.
It works for games, though.

I used to have a GeForce 8400GS, so at least it would be a little better (well, not sure. I think it is :/)

OH HEY ANOTHER COMPUTER TOPIC, I BET YOU GUYS HAVEN'T SEEN MANY OF THESE LATELY AM I RIGHT?

Okay, so I'm getting a new computer in about a week. Here are the specs:

2GB DDR2 RAM
2.6GHz Pentium Dual Core Processor
Nvidia GeForce GT220 GT 240 Graphics card with 1GB DDR3 VRAM

Those are all the specs I can get at the moment. Would this be able to play any game released within the past year on high? I don't really care about graphics, I'm just wondering.

does it take up a lot of mega bites?
About two thousand

Most games now are up into the gigabytes in terms of hard drive space required.
