If the machine is running slow in general or having more stutters, it's possible it could be as simple as a failing hard drive.  I would just recommend backing up your stuff and getting a new drive sooner than later, should help.

This is likely the cause by the given symptoms.  I also recommend backing up your data (if possible,) and doing a full SMART test on the drive you're using.

If you can access your files from a Linux LiveCD or some other means, would it be possible for you to upload the files within "C:\Windows\Minidump"?  These memory dump files are critical to understanding what's going wrong.

But he's right.  Creating a small sample of a drug in a school lab is completely different than creating thousands of milligrams that are safe for human consumption.  The form of ignorance these reporters show is despicable.
