or people who aren't smart enough for smartphones
Or people who can't afford smartphones
You don't have a smartphone but drop $170 on a watch?
You said "watch." You didn't say "this watch."
Stop being so ambiguous, kthx.

2734
In the world of Smartphones who needs a watch anymore?
People who don't own smartphones?

These warnings don't appear while browsing blockland.us, and it appears as if this isn't the only website falsely blacklisted. This also occurs on devices browsing with Opera Mini.
Apparently to fix this, the webmaster would have to contact support@search.yandex.com or somehow make contact with them in order to report this as a false positive.

ER, does the installer let me run it along side windows, let me allocate as much space or try it?
It runs it alongside Windows as a boot option. It probably would either give you an option to let it allocate as much as it wants or to allocate as much as you want. It won't let you try it, as Wubi is an installer, not a Live environment. The ISO is what you need if you wish to try before you install.

Any reason why I mount any of my FAT formatted volumes in Windows that it corrupts itself? I'm sick of seeing these kernel messages in Linux when I'm transferring files to and from a Windows OS
Code: [Select]
[ 7408.558280] FAT-fs (sda4): error, invalid access to FAT (entry 0x41510e1a)
[ 7408.558288] FAT-fs (sda4): Filesystem has been set read-only
[ 7408.601434] FAT-fs (sda4): error, invalid access to FAT (entry 0x4754467d)
[ 7408.602561] FAT-fs (sda4): error, invalid access to FAT (entry 0x27248d9a)
[ 7408.607029] FAT-fs (sda4): error, invalid access to FAT (entry 0x597c85e8)
[ 7408.607443] FAT-fs (sda4): error, invalid access to FAT (entry 0xd7d4c711)

Ok, I've got the Ubuntu installer and I'm confused as to what it does, does it install an ISO that I can burn to a disk or does it install ubuntu?
It just installs Ubuntu. Not sure how, as I have never used Wubi (nor would I recommend it, GRUB is a much better bootloader anyways.)
If you want the ISO, you have to download it from the Ubuntu website.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you get this stuffware from a cnet installer or something of the sort?
You can uninstall it from Add/Remove Programs (Programs and Features for Windows Vista/7.)

The problem has been persistent for a couple months now.
The bug check code has a value of 0x00000116. This indicates that an attempt to reset the display driver and recover from a timeout failed. Updating your Video Drivers is the most common cause of this problem. Try a driver roll-back from the Device Manager.

I probably should've been more subtle.
I've had bad experiences with nVidia cards being at mild temperatures, even at idle.
only NVIDIA card i've had that idles at outrageous temperatures would have to be my 9500GT
the others idle around 33, while the 9500GT idles at 53

in all honesty you should only be concerned for the safety of the computer when you're breaching 86 degrees or higher on a notebook
