My old Airline Simulation RP failed completely, but here's a good one.
Serious RP, by the way. Don't be stupid
In this RP, you found an airline from any country. You then have to achieve the goal of becoming the world's only airline by shoving competition out of the business. You have to buy routes, buy slots at airports, pick ticket prices, start feeder airlines, acquire other airlines, etc. etc.
A die is rolled whenever you do something, and the results can be:
1 - Your flyers have decided to boycott your company over the decision.
2 - Your flyers absolutely hate the decision. You lose lots of money*
3 - Your flyers are neutral about the decision.
4 - Your flyers like it okay but want to make some changes.
5 - Your flyers like the decision
6 - Your flyers love the decision. Keep it up!
(* = Two dice are rolled again after the 2. These 2-3 die determine how much money you lose, in millions.)
Available Decisions
You can:
• Open a new route. Costs money depending on each destination, with larger cities being the most expensive. You cannot use Boeing 747s on small airstrips, or Cessna 172s in major airports, so decide wisely
• Buy an airplane. Very expensive, but could draw in more customers + gives you the ability to hold more.
• Change things about the plane. For example: seats, if TVs are on the back of screens. Comes with a price determined by 1 die in thousands to millions.
• Buy an airline. Extremely expensive but helps expand your airline.
• Buy a terminal. Extremely expensive but draws in more.
• Start a codeshare. Not that expensive, gives you a share of profits + losses from companies
So how do I buy stuff?
A plane that is a "turboprop" costs around 50,000,000 dollars.
A plane that is a small 4 seater (Piper, Cessna) is around $62,000.
A plane that is a small jet holding 100-200 people is around $200,000,000
A plane holding 200-300 people is around $300,000,000
A plane holding over 300 people is $1,000,000,000. (Not accurate to real life).
You start out with a Cessna 172 and you have to set the ticket price and route.
Where do I begin?
Starting out you begin at a small airport near you, less than 50km (longer if you live in a rural area). You can open your first route for free, but only one 100km-200km away from where you are. Then the prices start tacking up. 1-3 die are rolled for the amount of money spent opening the route.
