Looks credible. I may partake with my skills. Does this include any elements of old world 20th century?
 o:

Some of those styles and build aspects could probably be worked into buildings in the Chasm, you'd have to warp them a little though.

Freedom Denied

Background

So, after the discovery that I can't host, I decided to switch the focus of the project from the city as a whole to just the chasm, because it was my favorite of the three cities anyway. I have also switched the focus of the build from just a city build to a SINGLE player mission map. This means that when it is finished, the save will be downloadable and the game will be able to be played on a single player map. The reason I decided to do this was because its hard to tell a story in a multiplayer game unless everyone is cooperating.

When you say realistic, I don't know if you mean actual realism or the kind of sepia-toned everything some games have nowadays, so I'll just leave this here.

loving beautiful.

When I said realism, I did mean that kind of thing instead of a brown and grey fest that a lot of games seem to think is realistic.

TF2's art style.

So, like, cartoony? Although I was thinking of something like that, but I think that tf2 looks cool because each of the characters has their own VERY unique look. I don't think that would be very easy to do in an rpg style game. And everyone has to be relatively the same size for vehicles and mounts and whatnot.

Realistic.

Purty... That is one reason to do realistic, I actually find it more immersive in some of the newer games, although bad realism is distracting to me at least

No do cel shaded like LOZ: Windwaker

I did think wind waker had good graphics, but that was kindof what I was thinking about in terms of anime, but with maybe less bright colors, a more realistic color palate. Although I was thinking of trying to get a drawn look like Valkyre Chronicles has, to make it seem more like anime art.

Depends on the game's theme

The theme of the game is basically survival and settlement, the concept of letting the players create towns and villages and empires.

So, I've been doing a little work on a weird little game using UDK. And I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what kind of art style the game should have. Its supposed to have a kind of haven and hearth feel, but I didn't want to start making any art before I decided how I wanted the game to actually look :P

So, anyway, I guess I should give some examples of what I mean by the different art styles

Realistic: You know what realistic graphics look like

Anime: Kindof Mabinogi/Valkyria Chronicles feel

SOTC/LOZ Twilight princess: Kindof a mix between the two, Google them if you want an example.

So, hopefully I can decide on a style soon and start work. I'm kindof in between drawn anime and realistic right now, but I'd like some opinions.

I'm just saying, but you only have one character, so you don't need to keep calling him by his name, just use "he" or "his".

I was wondering if anyone knew how to get wheat seeds, or really any kind of seed. I don't have any crops right now, and I wanted to start farming.
