The thing about Riven is that, as much as you will all tell me wrong, she has a very low skillcap. After playing her for a while and just getting fed out of control doing absurd damage with an absurd shield, it just gets boring.

Might I ask what elo you were playing in? In anything higher than Bronze 1, you need to know how to animation cancel and chain abilities to actually be effective, and in high silver and above, people will start focusing you the second you get a kill and you really need to learn to make plays to succeed. You're right about Riven being stupidly broken in low elo, but I don't believe you are correct in saying saying she's low skill cap.

Yea, I need to expand my champion pool from teamplayer stuff to carrying, because theres almost 0 follow up when playing with people from my level. Not to mention they flock like sheep for 1 enemy while the other enemies are taking objectives/pushing lanes. Also, people tend to play their favorite champs only instead of ones that would benefit the team, not that theres anything too bad with that, but malph adc? Pls. Not to mention the Bans are reaaally silly at my level. Def gotta learn how to carry better. Although, I can do so with Garen but eeehhh.Redeemed and Championship Riven tho
Yea, this is pretty true. People at my level tend to disperse and not kite OR focus the Riven. A lot of Bronze players tend to forget that CC is golden and having follow up on that CC is literal love(or rape, for the CC'd party). But anyways, def taking your advice for Riven. I tried her twice ARAM and I love her, just have to save up for her, after my runes. Speaking of Runes, are Scaling attack damage runes(or scaling runes in general, besides mag. resist) worth it and is it more worth to get Tier 2 Lifesteal runes vs Tier 3 Lifesteal runes?

For Riven, you could run scaling damage if you really wanted to, I've personally never done it. For theorycrafting purposes, it could work, but I think the level 1 flat AD gives you too much of an advantage to give up. If anything scaling, I would run scaling CDR glyphs. I only really run life steal on Nasus, but it's definitely worth getting the more expensive life steal runes if you plan on playing nasus or maybe even some Korean Tryndamere. Top lane is usually all about the early game fights, and early life steal doesn't give any advantage over running straight damage in those slots imo, unless you're planning on playing a really safe lane and just scaling into late game. If you plan on playing riven, you could do a trial of each rune page, using the one I posted as  a "control" of sorts, and compare the performance to that. If you find some runes that end up working better for you, go right ahead and use them, no pressure. Most of playing Riven is just being comfortable on the champ and knowing your limits, so I would pick one page and stick with it so you learn the limits of the champ and it's always constant.

Really, anything that scales really well into late game without having a stuff early game will do well. That's why I would say to avoid Vayne and Twitch for now, because you'll be useless if you get stuff on early game, but most ADCs are fine for that purpose. The reason I suggested Riven and Gragas was that they are incredibly strong at all stages of the game, and both champs will serve you well all the way through Gold if you ever have to play top or jungle, respectively. It can be any champ as long as they snowball out of control though. I'll go a little more in depth why I believe Riven to be the best at her respective role in Bronze.

Riven: Riven is an absolute beast. Ridiculous level 1 all in with Q-auto-Q-auto-Q-auto ignite, will kill most, if not all top laners at level 1, especially in bronze where they don't respect Riven's level 1-3. If you start long sword 3 pots and rush Brutalizer, your lane opponent will cry because that cloth armor they're going to have to buy is basically going to do nothing for them anymore, and CDR is the most broken on Riven of all champs in the game, because it grants you both stupid dmg and mobility. If your opponent is a pansy and stacks armor, build last whisper after brutalizer. If not, get that Ravenous Hydra as fast as you can. Build the CDR boots and then finish Youmuu's Ghostblade. Youmuu's Riven is better than Black Cleaver Riven IMO because people underestimate the value of the active and the 15% crit chance it offers. Nobody expects to lose a trade because they got crit by a riven. 15% is the sweet spot of crit chance for you. After that, build Last Whisper or Ravenous Hydra, whichever one you didn't build first, and then you have a decision; go a Maw of Malmortious or a Randuins Omen. Hold up, Cappy! WTF are you doing? Why are you building defensive items on Riven? Because you already have more than enough damage to blow up anyone, even their armor stacking tank, and it gives you more survivability. Top your build off with a Guardian Angel and you're good to go, even if they focus you in a team fight, you'll be tough as forget to kill, and they have to kill you twice! For skill order, I go Q, E, W, and then max them in that same order. You can max W before E if you want, but I find the added mobility and bigger shield from E to be more useful in dominating your lane. For combos, you E in, W, R, Q-auto-Q-auto-Q-auto, then R again if they haven't already died to you. Enjoy going legendary.

Pros to playing Riven:
Ridiculous early game
Scales super well
Does tons of damage even to tanks
Battle Bunny Riven

Cons to playing Riven:
Your team will rage at you for not picking a tank
Dodge vs Kayle, you will not win a farm lane or a kill lane vs her. Just Dodge, she's your hidden worst counter
Silences will make you cry

Silver IMO is the hardest to get out of. You play against less-incompetent people than bronze while your team still doesn't have the decision making skills to win. I've played countless games where we throw because somebody is farming jungle at 40 minutes into the game.

Silver sucks because people never listen. They all think they're so good and will carry, but whenever anybody steps up to make calls, they don't listen. Everybody does their own thing and the more coordinated team ends up winning.

so i just finished my provisionals and i got placed in b1
i was silver 2 last season, won 6 games and lost 4
loving bronze

Bronze is easy to get out of as long as you keep a level head and grind out the games with something bronzies can't control once you get fed, like Riven top or Gragas jungle. Gragas just gets too tanky for them to kill while having annoying damage, and riven will just dive the back line and one hit their carries, and dominate lane.

Huh, I only had Worldwar 2 combined with Worldwar 1 for a month, back the year prior to my final exam year. It only lasted one month as it was part of one of the 5 (or so) periods a year.

I guess it's different in The Netherlands, which is odd because it happened here pretty literally.

I didn't realize you were from The Netherlands, here in the good old USA we talk about the Holocaust for at least a week each school year. It's a little ironic that the holocaust garnered support because of propaganda and now has become a source of propaganda.

Every single year in school since third grade, we've heard about the holocaust for at least one week per year. Only one year did we talk about the conquest of the new world, which was genocide on a MUCH LARGER scale, and nobody gave a stuff, but we talk about the holocaust and it's suddenly the worst thing to ever happen to anyone ever. You're telling me that killing over 90% of the native american population west of the Rockies isn't as bad as killing 5 million jews? That's not even 40% of the jews in europe in the ww2 era. There were many more native americans than jews and the fact that they killed over 90% of them brutally doesn't mean stuff to my idiot classmates.

Holocaust is one of the biggest pieces of propaganda ever. Almost 70 years later we're still hearing about the 12 million or whatever the forget it was. The media and schools cram it down everyone's throat. We spend 5 seconds talking about the conquest of the "new world," which was a genocide on a larger scale than the holocaust, and like 3 loving weeks talking about the holocaust in class. Genocide loving happens. It shouldn't but it does. I don't see why we marvel at that. More than half of the people killed during the holocaust weren't even loving Jewish. I'm sorry but the holocaust is like beating a dead horse for me at this point. The jews are the only group you see whoring themselves out about the holocaust. The Roma don't talk about it. The Russians don't talk about it. The jews are the only reason we still talk about it. When we want to feel pity on the jews for the holocaust, it's completely welcome, but when we want to indict them for war crimes against palestinians, or even disapprove of netanyahu, that's anti semitic? what in the actual forget

Regardless of whether or not a guy is a cop, if he is carrying a weapon, you generally dont forget with him. Cops are trained to shoot for center mass to incapacitate a target. I'm not saying the guy deserved to be shot, but it should be common sense to comply with the police, not put your hands on an officer, and not try to run away.

Okay so I’m not exactly what you’d call a tumblr expert here. I kind of only come on here to look at research and post pictures but I’ve noticed some really weird stuff just watching other peoples blogs. So plain and simple I’d like to know…

I have never seen such a weird little group of misfits who want to feel special. who think that Gender and loveuality is anything more than a random chance-of-the-draw scrambling of hormones our brain uses to tell us our physical preferences. that mental disorders are like accessories and self diagnosis is a get-out-of-jail-free card for any inane bullstuff that comes out of their mouths- or more aptly keyboards because I cannot imagine anybody actually saying this stuff in real life. Like really I can’t. If someone talked like that around me I’m sure that I’d punch them. You dont get special pronouns. you get ‘He’ and ‘She’ whichever one you like. I don’t care. I’ll go as far to call someone an ‘It’ even sometimes for special circumstances. But if you ask me to call you ‘zhe’ or ‘faye’ or ‘tyr’ or whatever I’m going to punch you in the throat.I mean it. In the throat. IN. THE. THROAT.

 That leads me to my next topic- loving OTHERKIN. What is this bullstuff? When did we decide that we could drag 5th grade into our adult lives? I mean holy stuff, yes I still do online role play and that stuff is fine. That’s like a hobby, that’s like playing Dungeons and Dragons. I don’t care if you role play, more power to you but I do not believe that I am actually a dragon tailed school bus with fairy tendencies or whatever it is you believe that you are. I don’t believe I am stepping on your tail or touching your gills. If you believe you can actually feel these things SEEK MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL HELP PLEASE. That is schizophrenia. That is a REAL disorder that needs REAL help and should NOT be encouraged. You will never have a real relationship with real adults. You will never grow as a person if you coddle this behavior and justify it. You are infantilizing yourself and those around you. You are going to say its just who you are but then I’m sure you will take the schizophrenia thing and then self diagnose yourself with it and use it as an excuse but then still continue to insist that you ARE an otherkin…just an otherkin with schizophrenia. Right. (P.S. Your whole anime-kin thing also…stop it…just…its embarrassing to watch.)

Next up- mental disorders. Oh. My. God. Why? Why are you doing this? why do you think its cool to do this? why do you think its OKAY to do this? You use the excuse that you don’t have enough money to go to a doctor and get tested. Sure thats fine thats great I get that but that does NOT MEAN THAT YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. You do not know what is wrong with you. You never went to school you read a wikipedia article. Most of you aren’t even old enough to get on disney.com without your parents permission and you’re diagnosing yourself with BPD. Theres only one thing I can think of that any of you might have and that is Munchausens. Look it up.

Bipolar Disorder does not give you an excuse to be a bitch.
In order for you to have PTSD something actually has to have happened to you.
ADHD does not give you an excuse to ignore other people or not complete your work.

I SHOULD BE HAPPY ABOUT THAT AND YOU SHOULD TOO. there are provisions made for those who need it but I don’t believe that these people are being oppressed. I cannot literally think of a single person who thinks to themselves “Oh those goddamn deaf people I hate them and their uppity sign language! I think I’m going to remove subtitles from everything and enjoy my music because they can’t hear it. yeah that’ll show them!” Nobody does that. if they do, well color me loving surprised. Yeah okay it sucks that theaters dont have subtitles. I have partial hearing loss in one ear, makes it hard to understand what people are saying but I dont expect anybody to go out of their way for me on that. you know what I do? I focus extra hard or JUST WAIT FOR THE MOVIE TO COME OUT ON DVD. Seriously it only takes like 2 months now and they ALL HAVE SUBTITLES. Don’t feel sorry for them. These people are stronger than you’ll ever be and they don’t need YOU to defend them. They find their ways. My mom is nearly deaf. She found her way and she didn’t need you little forgets to do it.

Also you are NOT warriors. if somebody has a problem with something they will speak up for it on their own. People who are trans, disabled, black, muslim, WHATEVER all of these people do not need your whiny SJW bullstuff. They DON’T NEED IT. People are not automatically right because they are black. That doesn’t mean they’re automatically wrong either. People are not automatically oppressed because they’re Muslim. That doesn’t mean its easy for them either. People are not automatically discriminated against because they’re trans. That does not mean that they do not sometimes experience it. There are so many situations like this. It doesn’t matter who’s saying it. a white man or a black man. a straight man or a gay man. A female or a male. These people will at some point their life experience loveism, discrimination, or racism…that does not mean that you get to tell me that I’m wrong because my skin is pale. Beyond that humans have an amazing ability called adaptation. Words hurt, of course they do, but not all the time. How your feefees are more important than actual life and progress, how you are lead weights in society holding up real issues like the economy, like medical care, like food shortages and war. These are real problems. Not how you can’t wear spaghetti straps at school, not how that one episode of whatever offended you, not how insurance premiums are higher for obese people, not how you think society should find you attractive when you weigh 500+ pounds. (P.S. people don’t.
