Go look at the politics thread for the prime examples of this. 3/4 of the thread is just low effort posts to straight up stuffposts of a sentence or two at most which contribute very little to the discussion.

There isn't any extra "oomph" though, due to the games I play not needing more than 2gb. There is zero performance difference. Just like the difference between 8gb ram and 16gb ram when all you need is 8gb, there is zero difference

The 2gb 960 is perfect for my needs and the games I play. If I needed the 4gb, I'd get it, but I don't.

TBH I would wait to buy a GPU, gpu prices are absolute dogstuff right now.

I bought this card in August for $730. Even then, it was a little bit inflated in price. Now the same card costs nearly $500 more than when I bought it. The effect is most pronounced on higher end cards, but still, you're really not going to be getting a great price on a GPU at the current moment because of miners.

the good thing about low elo is that if you're good enough at macro, you can solo carry even if your teammates are handicapped. Objective control is a myth to people down there.
