you can open the steam browser from in-game and "subscribe" (basically download) addons from there into the game. You may still have to restart with BL, but Gmod doesn't have to.

Basically a huge database where the community can thumbs up or down an addon and comment on it.

yeah, i don't see very many save files being posted for public use, i think if we posted more of those that'd be cool

it'd be nice if the addon installing was a little more intuitive, for example, like, including a better help screen with updated info.
