« on: June 24, 2014, 08:28:00 PM »Instead of reinventing the wheel, why not just use Unity 2D? You can program in either Javascript or C# (or Boo, Unity's weird language). They have particle effects, physics, music, sound effects, animation, ..basically everything you would need or want in a 2D game.
Not to mention you can avoid the restraints that Gamemaker has
well wrapper said his has support for mods and other cool stuff so im gonna leave it to him for now
