Everybody has to start somewhere, so work hard and it'll pay off. McDonalds I know offers education assistance / reimbursement which even if it is a small amount, will help in the long run.

So work there, work hard and use the resources they have to help you progress to your career.

I heard that parents gave their 5 year old child a love change operation because they liked to wear girl clothes.

Ever heard of a phase?

I would actually shoot those parents if I knew them IRL.

Does the entirety of Anime count as a single tv show?

Eh, it should. They're all the exact same.

np. im not a therapist or anything so my words arent worth that much, but im glad i could help a little bit. there are always plenty of people here who are angry and bitter for no reason and a few here who are really cool and always want to help and stuff. just associate with the latter group and avoid the former and you'll see how your stress just dissapears

That's the thing though, I'm not stressed. I was stressed when I did bother to be friends with people. I felt stressed to keep up relationships and hang out with people. My stress completely dissipated once I started to hate people. Once I did that, I was able to focus on my career and spending time with my wife and dog. It was once I started to really despise people that my personal meaning (or lack thereof) came clear.

Therapist or not, you made me realize something today. Beliefs can change for sure, even if it will be a long and tedious process. Not to say any of my beliefs did change today at all but I'll consider giving it a second chance though. Thanks.

Maybe try thinking of everyone around you (including yoursef) as cogs in a huge machine and adopt the community mentality. help people around you maybe? volunteer? talk to people? be nice? etc. when you do a lot of that you'll start to notice that the community gives back

That was the exact way I did things before all this stuff started to unravel. I don't even really know what triggered my hatred towards people. Maybe times have changed and maybe you're right that I should give it another chance to let people in and as you say "get the machine working" for those around. I'm open to changing my mind and looking from a new standpoint. I think we all should be that way. Obviously it wouldn't be on a large scale but you did make me realize that even if it is one or two select people I can help, it could be beneficial. Even if I continue to think as a misanthropist. Who knows, maybe that one person could positively change my life. It still pains me to think about it though.

Thank you for the outlook perry. It was enjoyable to read your posts compared to being "attacked" by others who hold themselves higher. I said I wouldn't stuff on others opinions but holy forget do people love to throw em out.

If you want an honest answer, it's because misanthropy is an unhealthy coping mechanism to a lack of feeling of control in life. That's essentially it without wandering into armchair psychologist territory.

But you're mistaken. Some will use misanthropy as a coping mechanism, yes. However I have my life in a metaphorical "complete control" where the things I can help, I will help. It's where I feel most people should hopefully strive to be at. Misanthropist or Philanthropist alike.

if you're a misanthropist it probably means you feel as if you're getting nothing out of the human race, despite the fact that you drive on human built roads, eat at human built restaurants and play video games made by fellow humans. this whole 'all for self' mindset is completely unwarranted because the reason you get to enjoy such luxuries is because humans have been perfecting and raising the standard of living for millions of years, with your generation in mind.

It's funny, but I prefer the silence of enjoying my time in the woods. Alone. It sort of helps to clear my mind when it comes down to the basics of survival. But as stated above by the quote, yeah it hurts to hate others when you do the things that you hate as well.

Oh and here is a better explanation of a constant that goes through my mind explained by someone who is a little more uh "in control" of their rantings than I am. I sort of just shat out my bigger reasons of why I hate certain crowds more than what it actually is like being and thinking as a misanthropist.

Quick little explanation of what it's like being a misanthropist. It's definitely what could be called an "edgy" outlook by some. But it's true.

Ike I appreciate what little "effort" you attempted to put in. I believe you can be as big of a philanthropist as you want. I do want to apologize for not really throwing in the actual points of being a misanthropist a bit sooner. stuff got me carried away.

I'm definitely with Ike here. Also, what the hell is the point of marrying someone if you're both going to be isolated from each other most of the time.

We're not isolated, we spend our time together. Read please.

if you think the human race is a virus then why are you just acting so loving hopeless, going about hating everyone and looking for the worst in people, instead of trying to make it better

Please elaborate on how you will get almost eight billion people to suddenly shake hands. It sucks but it's wise to give up faith in a hopeless cause.

forget sakes I really have to go, my dedication today is not something to be proud of lmao.

what does your wife think about this

have you even told her

You commented just in time as I reloaded. My wife and I are the same way, so it works out. It makes it a really enjoyable marriage to be honest because we enjoy the time to ourselves in the peace and serenity of our home. We've worked hard for what we have today and we take the time out of our daily lives to be able to appreciate it. What more could you want in life other than having the one person you love sitting next to you and enjoying some drinks while taking in the views. It really is in our minds, a paradise of isolation.

I for real have to go though, have fun guys.
