Faw hits the comms.

Faw sighs for a moment, contemplating what his goodbye should be.

"Looks like this is it for this beast. It was nice flying with you guys. I'll tell Geary and Yui how it's going."

Faw fires a final salvo at the Defender tank before punching the eject button and parachuting over the ground team's position.

Faw's voice cracks in over the comms, "I'm hit, both wings. Burning up like a sparkler. To be frank, I don't think I'm going to last long."

He starts to turn his plane around and line up a shot on the Defender tank.

Faw's wings rapidly disintegrate into showers of sparks as he buzzes towards the stunned Typhoon, his ruined wings turning the act of keeping the plane straight into a monumental struggle itself. He takes a glance to his right, makes a mental note of his currently deteriorating right wing, and then takes a glance to his left. He switches on his comms.

"Heh, welllllllllll."

His words gradually melt into nervous chuckling.

"I guess nobody has a spare seat, huh?"

He launches his remaining 3 AAMs, 2 at the Sol trailing him, and 1 at the Typhoon.

The reflected beam impacts Faw's airframe, stripping off the ablative armor in a flurry of bright sparks and plumes of vaporized armor plating, rocking the plane to the side, and giving his guts a good churning. He regains control of both his plane and his nerves, and clicks on the comms for a sitrep.

"Everything's still functional over here-" Faw checks his systems and subsystems for any signs of damage, flicking through the condition screens on his HUD "-so far, at least."

After making sure his plane is still in one piece, he activates the cloaking system, and starts to aim for Typhoon-1. His voices creaks in over comms, "Going after Typhoon-1."
