Gaffe let's out a nervous chuckle, perhaps finding a little solace in black humor.

"Though considering you fell for Izzy's buff, I should have expected less!"

Theme: You've got a few options. Since we were supposed to go to the Indomitus after dispatching you anyway, we could probably convince them that we swayed you to our side. Or, we'll have you drop all your munitions and hand you over as prisoners of war. Those are your options.

Gaffe once again chimes in over the radio. In an unsure voice, he pleads with Xiaomei.
"You know this is tantamount to a declaration of war, right? The fallout and war among the allied forces when this comes to light, and the Izzy push after would also kill many!"

Bell departs to speak with the carrier, and after a while Musashi breaks the awkward silence that follows in her wake.
: Do any of you here even know why you're still fighting?

Gaffe chimes in, trying his best to stabilize his comms.
"We've... We've lost too many good people to end this right before the end! We have to finish this- for the ones who aren't here..."
His static-y voice trails off.

Gaffe nervously shifts around in his roosterpit, fitzing with the communications controls in an attempt to stop the flickering and silence the shrill whine in his headset. He sends out a quick message, with an uneasy tone as he speaks, "Anybody else getting this interference? This is forgeted!"

Faw takes a peek over the barricade and observed what's happening. He wonders if the Imperials would really take him prisoner- no Imperial massacres of Aesthian or allied prisoners came immediately to mind. But flashes of Yui's end and his own unit's transgressions make this an uncertainty, for him, anyways.

He tugs the soldier next to him,

"What are you planning to do?"

Faw halts his fire, and withdraws back into cover. He turns over to the Aesthian commando and tells him what's happening.

"They've stopped firing. And the tin can? He's standing still. Gun down. Hand up. What do you think we should do?"

Faw rolls over and stumbles up to his feet. He braces himself against the cover, reading himself to fire at the approaching enemy.

Faw lunges towards the grenade with the intensity of a man possessed and barely grips it in his hand before whipping it out from the barricade towards the end of the tunnel from where they came. He then goes to hit the dirt with his legs pointing towards the tossed aside grenade, hoping to minimize the damage of any shrapnel to his torso or head.
