« on: January 07, 2014, 12:40:47 AM »Technically it is unconstitutional to force students to do the pledge ,but of course schools still have it as a school rule. I agree with you, Paral, because they do act like they loving own you. Whenever you walk through those doors, in fact, they care about what you do outside of school too, you lose your basic rights. You don't get your freedom of speech, for example, saying that the school is treating all students like pets. Every single teacher apparently has the "right" to embarrass you in front of the class, and you have to listen to whatever they say and not have a negative attitude toward it (one teacher said this, if you don't like what they say, don't say your opinion and shake your head in agreement). Apparently they are all of our guardians for Christ's sake. I love most of the teachers in my school, but some others treat us like pets.
They put me on alternative assessment for going on strike. I feel like I should sue them, but they'll get what's coming to them.

The school district thinks they own you, and they're pushing you around. And you're not gonna do a thing about it, nobody ever fights for themselves.
It's quite a shame that even in America, kids are treated more like Pets than people. They expect you to come when you're called, and when you do they think your parents have succeeded, but you could say that about anyone and they could turn out to be a serial killer.
Also they force you to do the pledge of allegiance, basically they're forcing you to be a patriot. That's how much power they think they have.
