it is absolutely %100 alvin.
if you take a look at the original picture, you'll notice that brittany is really the only one using technique, while the others are not. this is already in alvins favor.
next, you notice that alvin is doing the jordon, this is clearly a sign of good head, his face appears close to climax, while theodore looks like he's about to cry and simon is having to take control of jeanette, clearly a sign of bad head.
let's also not forget that alvin and brittany are both super popular (alvin's a jock, as he was playing football in the squeakquel
, while brittany is a bit of a bad bitch, so even if she isn't liked, she probably gave head to make friends.), so it is safe to assume brittany has given before, and alvin has received before, allowing brittany to give alvin better head with previous technique and experience. Theodore is fat and simon is unpopular, so this is most definitely their first time, so it's safe to say it's awkward.

Shell Spin Grabs (Common in SMM1)I can see this being a downgrade. However it will increase the variety of levels we see ingame. Most of the levels that did well were just kaizo speedruns.
Overlaying Pipes with One Way wallsThis is a straight up downgrade, I can agree.

Building at the Start AreaOnly bad levels really made use of this (I.E Placing a thwomp at the start of the levels). The player needs room to get accustomed to your level.
Also because it's not on the Wii U, moving items is not nearly as intuitive.This is not the games fault. Even then just play in handheld mode if you want to use a touchscreen.
Nintendo also limits the amount of levels you can upload.This was a thing in smm1? Even then, like I said earlier, they already doubled it and plan on upping it again.
This absolutely pails in comparison as to what they added.

A really good tutorial (even teaches you things like respecting the player and having others playtest your level)
Different player characters.
A bunch of useful gizmos for contraptions (Swinging claws, icicles, see saw platforms, etc.)
Rising Lava/Water
Story mode
Online Versus and Co-Op (Though the connection isn't the best, I can see this being fixed like smash ultimate)'
A better version of 100 Mario challange.
Vertical Sub-Areas
And more.
