Although I call it "teaching", it's more commonly known as Game Development. I want to make games that will change people for the better. I'm hoping to be one of the first AAA-level devs to make indie-like games. We'll see what happens.

I don't think I've had a college teacher who hasn't laughed. It's a pretty relaxed place.

The comments are worse than the video. But the video is pretty loving terrible.

Would you rather Real Life: The Video Game or an actually fun game?

I saw your forum profile, are you really Australian and Mexican? If so cool! It's a unique combination.
I wish. Apparently I used to look really Mexican. With a Seattle accent. I don't even.

Its not really Zapks fault, somebody MENTIONED it. Before Zapk was good, but somebody, i dont know mentioned it and Zapk started to do it.
If a kid says "I wonder what it would be like to jump off a cliff" and the man standing behind him went and did that, would you blame the kid or the idiot that jumped off the cliff?

Games / Re: Video Games: What Makes It Art?
« on: April 06, 2014, 02:48:49 AM »
well i guess a better way to phrase what i meant was

sports are not an example of someone's creativity or emotions

nor can they be

we usually interpret our emotions differently, which is why i believe all art can be interpreted differently
Honestly, I think sport can be considered an art. I absolutely hate physical activity, but it qualifies as an art form when you consider that most games don't have a single "winning strategy", and in many cases victory takes years and years of dedication, practice  and personal interpretation to figure out how to give the best performance.

That said though, one could argue that because sports are a closed medium (only involving the people performing the activity), and other reasons, they don't really qualify. Doesn't really matter, though.

Games / Re: Watch Dogs looks stuffty now.

Just putting it out there that I worked Ubi PR for an event involving Watch_Dogs, and I have my contacts. They cut a stuff-ton of content. Also, that delay for the game? Unplanned. Very fortunate though, because the game makes Aliens: Colonial Marines look stable.

oh and lol, 8 core processor

There's so many good ones, but the big one that sticks with me after everything is said and done would be, "Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow?"
