Off Topic / Zealot's bus driver is a registered child molester

So my starfish bus driver mysteriously dissipated from the job, and was replaced by a very nice lady named Ms. Jacky. There was a rumor I heard today that he was fired after being arrested for child molestation, but I called BS. I googled it on my phone and-- it's real. I found him on a news site with a story about what happened. I still wasn't totally sure because I didnt know his first name, but then I scrolled down to the mugshot. It was definitely him.

Apparently he paid a 15 year old boy to have love with him who he contacted online. Somehow the police were tipped off and when they busted him in a shady motel he tried to say that the boy was his son. He was charged with Soliciting a Minor for love and Child Molestation. He was a big stick-up-the-ass rules sorta dude who wrote citations for EVERYTHING, and not someone I would ever expect to be a child molester. You learn something new every day.

tldr; my bus driver molested a 15 year old boy.

Off Topic / Zealot Tries Every Flavor of Ramen Noodles (Top Ramen Chicken Cup!)

I consider myself a Ramen Connoisseur. At the local supermarket they are just 25 cents, or 5 for a dollar. Ramen is the future of the working class. Despite all this, I've never really branched out beyond Maruchan Oriental Flavor.  As of a few days ago, I've decided to try every flavor of Top Ramen Noodles, and rate them.

Top Ramen Chicken Cup:


I bought a 24 pack of these and I've been eating them over the last few months. You'd think I'd develop a distaste for them after all this time, but if anything they might have grown on me. I don't usually get Chicken Flavor, but I've honestly never found a bad type of cup Ramen. I leave it to sit and pour in boiling water. Within moments it's finished, perhaps the fastest Ramen of them all. The flavor is much stronger than packet Ramen, but sometimes seasoning is stuck to the top of the lid (You want to brush it off). The noodles taste exactly how you'd expect them to, and the vegetables add a nice touch. My personal favorite thing about them however, is once the noodles are gone. The water is DELICIOUS. Especially when it's still hot, the extremely seasoned chicken near-boiling chicken water is really delicious to sip almost like a coffe. Don't just chug it, because a lot of seasoning will be left at the bottom of the cup.

Flavor: 7.5/10 (Very Good)
Spice: 4.2/10 (Very Strongly Seasoned)

Do not buy these. It looks nothing like the picture, I think mine had a total of 3 pieces of chicken and no vegetables. The flavor packet is this black ooze which seems to be some sort of soy sauce. It honestly tasted like ration food MRE crap.

Guess what I bought. I did this before seeing your post, actually.


Chow Mein Teriyaki Beef Flavor:


I found these in the back of the pantry, old and uneaten. Stirring them up, I was hopeful. The other Teriyaki bowls were good, but the beef flavors were awful, so I was careful. The first thing I noticed was that it smelled bad, and was much darker than in the picture. The first bite wasn't very flavorful, and in fact, left a nasty flavor in the back of my throat. Every bite afterwards was a little bit worse than the last, and was deeply unpleasant. I almost gagged trying to drink the water at the end, and didn't go through with it. Maybe I got a bad copy.  Maybe I got a bad flavor.

Flavor: 2.8/10 (Nasty)
Spice: 1/10 (No Seasoning)

Maruchan Pork Flavor:


I spotted this new flavor today and thought it looked geniunely disgusting. Though, Chili surprised me, so perhaps this would as well. I heated it up, and poured in the sauce. The water turned dark brown-red, almost like Maruchan Oriental. I took a bite, aaaand... they weren't that bad. They weren't good, but not nearly as gross as I expected. I wouldn't have guessed pork, with them tasting more like a seasoned Beef flavor. There was no spice, but a light seasoning stayed with me after eating it. I won't ever eat it again, but it wasn't as awful as I expected.

Flavor: 5.9/10 (Acceptable)
Spice: 2/10 (Slightly Seasoned)

i am not exGGERating. i am legit HAVING TO look at the keyboard and i still mess up.

This is insane. There are over 25 different worlds to explore from Rick and Morty, and a ton of collectibles. Most of the images warp to another image or account. I'm really surprised. I hadn't seen this before.

Off Topic / Imageshack Changes old Images into Ads

So a few years back I used "Imageshack" to host my images. In 2012 they began getting extremely restrictive (image cap, no editing, slow uploads) for users who wouldn't pay a subscription fee. This seems like an insane move when their competitor (Imgur) already has a huge share of the market, much more than their own. I left the site and set up on Imgur.com

Today I discovered something. Imageshack is still up and running, as fine as ever, but they have changed all of my old images into advertisements. There are literally threads from years ago of me spamming ads to iTunes and other websites. Dozens of threads and hundreds of posts ruined. What a scummy move. I can't even edit the post or delete the image to change it.

This is the scummiest move from a company I have seen in years.
Nice job proving that you really are worse than Imgur.

WHAT IS IT?
BLF MOVIE NIGHT: The Resurrection is a remake of the massively successful (but discontinued) BLF Movie Night topic.
It is a livestream of various Youtube videos, almost all of which will be uploaded films.
You cannot pause, play, go forward or back, so it's like watching a movie with friends. The chatroom, while vaguely moderated, is extremely chaotic.
Rather than each night, we will be watching movies at scheduled times with ongoing themes.

IS IT LEGAL?
Yes. All the files are uploaded on Youtube and are streamed live so you cannot pause, play, fast forward or backward.
It's like a livestream of a Youtube video and the only person at a potential fault is the uploader.

Off Topic / Creepy BLF Mirrors - Let's figure this out.

So on June 9th, 2015, user Cloudworxz posted about a weird forum he found. He said he found a forum of bots that posted sketchy downloads, but they only used the usernames of BLF users. Most people didn't believe him, until a link was posted. The forums investigated the site, apparantly hosted on a legitimate phone-book website, but by the morning it had dissapeared.

More of these sites appear if you Google very specific BLF usernames, or if you reverse image search images from these forums. Let's compile them, and figure out what is going on. If you post any links, please put spaces around all periods in the URL.

These forums are all hosted on legitimate websites. Were they hacked? Are they renting spare server space? Why do they BLF users on them?

Warning: The sites are full of bots. They most likely post adware or perhaps even malware. Be very careful if you visit.

Apparantly each of these sites has it's own (real) forum. Each of them forums use Apache. The trojans hosted on the sites all link to the some place. One person or group prowled the BLF for usernames and is now exploiting a glitch in Apache to host malware on legit sites.

The mystery continues! Let's figure this out, BLF!

Wasn't a hat update confirmed quite a while ago? What ever happened to that? If modders can make fully functional hats in a small timeframe why is development taking so long?

Is it still a thing? Is it dead? Is there a timeframe for it? Did it ever exist? Is anything real?

We need more people to play Dungeons and Dragons. We can do it with groups of up to 7 but usually do it with 4 or rarely 5.
I'd like to get a full house sometime--but our group is so small we rarely have enough people. This is where you come in, BLF!
