Are you being sarcastic? The fictional country of Wakanda has existed since the 60s along with the Black PantherYea, I'm a pretty big early Marvel fan. The only reason they are making a Black Panther (and thus a Wakanda) film is because they want a black hero. Black Panther isn't even a B list hero like Ant Man was. He's C list, like Guardians of the Galaxy. Marvel has a talent for spinning obscure (and not very good) comics into great films so I'm not saying it's going to be a bad film--I'm just being realistic about it's political motivations.
my dude the country's existed in the universe for ages, hence why it's connected to a stuffload of stuff in MU (like it being the only country in earth to have the metal used for capt. america's shield among other things)I know about Wakanda, I've read the comics. The reason Black Panther was in Capt. America 3 was just to build hype for this movie, and mentions beforehand were just attempts to flesh out the "Marvel world". They are making a Black Panther movie (set in Wakanda, an African country) as outreach to black Americans. Why do you think the trailers were set to weirdly unfitting rap music? I'm not decrying this as immoral or anything, I'm just pointing out that this movie was engineered to attract black audiences into Marvel films.
they're all black bc they're in an african country lolAnd they're in an African country because Marvel realized how little outreach they had to non-white (and non-male aswell) groups. It's obviously politically motivated--that doesn't mean it will be bad. Gonna see it tonight.
the movie looks like a fun watch, will be seeing it soon
If you weren't going to be assed to actually research the topic you should have put "The Guardian: Robert Mueller charges 13 Russians with interfering in US election to help Annoying Orange"
The Guardian - Robert Mueller charges 13 Russians with interfering in US election to help Annoying Orange
The title is kinda misleading tbhI literally quoted the Guardian's title word-for-word. The reason Annoying Orange is more relevant than Stein and Bernie is because Annoying Orange actually won.
it would be better as
"Robert Mueller charges 13 Russians with interfering in US election"
since they shilled for like jill stein and not voting and other things
Russians also funded self-defense classes for African Americans to help 'protect them against the police'. You'll notice the Anti-Annoying Orange rhetoric (pre-election) is largely targeted at minority groups who wouldn't be voting for him anyway. What it does accomplish is create tension between races and isolate African Americans from other races in America. It's another divisive tactic. They don't actually hold any political positions other than "divide America" and a secondary goal of "support the most Pro-Russia candidate" which they achieved.

really makes you think
This seems extremely reasonable, actually. I think you're exactly right that while their primary goal is to divide America, I think you're ignoring some of their other motives. The invasion of Crimea decimated US-Russia relations and resulted in thousands of American troops being deployed to Eastern Europe. Putin can't keep reclaiming USSR land with the force of the Americans stationed in Europe, so he's going to want to cause internal political strife. Another extremely important factor is that Russia has access to numerous natural gas and oil deposits within the Arctic circle, but is unable to extract these fossil fuels due to thick ice and other winter conditions that Russian fuel corporations can't handle. They'd probably be signing off extremely lucrative deals with US corporations, if not for sanctions levied on them by the Obama administration preventing them from working with US oil corporations. The lifting of these sanctions to "restore relations with Russia" was one of the key issues for the Annoying Orange campaign, and, justified or not, one of the primary reasons they would favor him over other candidates such as Bernie Sanders.
Change title to add "And Bernie" so you're not lying by omission , please. Unless, of course, you didn't read the memo and see where it mentioned that they shilled for Bernie as well, but it would be silly to comment on something without reading it, no? :^)My title was directly copied from the Guardian article. If you've got a problem, take it up with them.
