tbh I'm too lazy to read posts with a graph in them.

I'm putting up an offer right now: I will pay someone $10 if they will write a bot that generates Lord-Tony style rants. Like, it has to look like something he would write.

eg: [Group name here] are nothing but [insulting word] terrorists. If they would look up basic statistics, they could see that [minority group] commits [#x] more [crimes] than [majority group]. Google is my source.

fairly certain that if it has a disclaimer + states in the terms & conditions that they aren't responsible, no court would take the case. even if someone did sue them over this, they would have their ass blasted by gamefreak lawyers
Even if you sign a disclaimer stating they are not responsible, you can still be sued. I don't think the lawsuit would get anywhere, but that is because Pokemon Go does not endanger users beyond sending them out walking, which many people would do anyway. If Pokemon Go put extra rare ghost Pokemon on toxic radiation landfills and sent users to collect them, it wouldn't matter how many disclaimers you sign without reading, you could sue them for putting the consumer in harm's way.

Also, there are really no regulations on filing lawsuits, it'll just get thrown out if it's handicapped.

Another example: A pillow company can't say "You accept full responsibility for the dangers of this product" and then cloak the pillow in cyanide before shipping it off.

that's not a source. both lawyers and judges can be wrong about the law, and also we still have no reason to believe you. you may not even have any family remotely related to law at all
I guess, but that would be a pretty weird act to keep up for my entire duration upon the forum--even making topics about their rulings (a relative made a decisive ruling on Gay Marriage in Oklahoma). Not really that cool of a thing to lie about?

Man I can't imagine the kind of mental gymnastics it requires to try and convince yourself that a group of people holding up a sign saying "WE REPRESENT MOVEMENT X" do not represent movement X
Here's the thing. I never said they weren't BLM supporters. A lot of starfishs support BLM. Maybe even half. However, the organization itself has perfectly legal if slightly reprehensible values and has never endorsed violence. Annoying Orange supporters beat up minorities that come to the rallies. That doesn't mean Annoying Orange hates minorities.

This is like saying that Tumblr supports male gendercide. No, Tumblr users supper male gendercide. Tumblr itself has never endorsed violence.

2765
You are. I could hold up a Annoying Orange sign with a communist sickle on it. I would not be speaking for Annoying Orange.

Does BLM have a leader or a front or something? Who do you mean when you refer to "BLM"? Because there have been multiple instances of BLM protesters calling for the murder of police officers.
BLM does have leaders, who represent the interests of the group. No BLM affiliated leader has called for violence of any kind. A nonviolent protest is a legal right. Calling for civil disobedience is also a right, however calling for violence is not.

Those protesters are not affiliated with BLM and do not speak for BLM

you can't sue them because of the clear disclaimer every time you open the app
yes you can lol. a disclaimer won't invalidate your lawsuit in any way should you proceed with it. it may be relevant during the case, but not a deciding factor

source: both parents are lawyers and grandparents are judges

It doesn't matter if it reaches a million signatures. It can't and wont happen.

also it's not even that good. you literally run around collecting pokemon which i guess is fun. but since you can only battle at gyms which are usually occupied by high level pokemon and you can't even do that until level 5 it's kinda dumb. so you wont be able to do a single battle for at least a few hours. and every pokemon, no matter how difficult or rare it is, is insta-caught through a crappy minigame where they jitter around your screen and you throw curveballs at them

pretty sure everyone in the world has played pokego now which is weird cause when i downloaded it a few days ago it only had 100k downloads. our waiter at chilis was talking about it and my barber was as well.

i predict an incoming lawsuit from a money-hungry soccer mom in west virginia who complains that pokemon go caused her child to be hit by a car because he was absorbed in his phone or something

no, it's the name for a movement to kill cops
that's handicapped and you are handicapped. BLM has never endorsed violence against police or anyone else

In other news "Inside" looks completely incredible. I'd insta-buy it if I wasn't leaving for Hawaii in a few hours.

I boycott any company that tries to make me download their own DRM Store program. I'm not getting uPlay. I'm not getting Origin. I'm not getting Battle.net. I hope I won't have to avoid TES 6 over Bethesda.net because I'm not sure if I could do that. It's one thing to be like Blizzard and only launch Overwatch through Battle.net, but to be like Ubisoft and launch uPlay through Steam and then launch your game through uPlay, it's just ridiculous.

I found a pretty awesome Email in my inbox, from a few years ago. It's like the opposite of EA.

Dear Stardock customer,

My name is Brad Wardell. I'm the President & CEO of Stardock.  Two years ago, you bought a game from us called Elemental: War of Magic.  We had great hopes and ambitions for that game but, in the end, it just wasn't a very good game.

Elemental was an expensive game. You probably paid $50 or more for it. And you trusted us to deliver to you a good game. $50 is a lot of money and companies have a moral obligation to deliver what they say they're going to deliver and frankly, Stardock failed to deliver the game we said we were going to deliver.

While we did update Elemental: War of Magic (you can still download v1.4). Its design just wasn't adequate to make it into the kind of game it should be. So we decided to start over. From scratch. We made a new game called Fallen Enchantress.

So even though it's been two years, we haven't forgotten about you.  This week, we released Fallen Enchantress. It is a vastly better game and, we believe, lives up to the expectations set for the original Elemental.  This game is yours. Free. It's already been added to your account.

You can download and play it by going to -snip-

We hope you enjoy Fallen Enchantress.  Please feel free to visit the Elemental forum at www.elementalgame.com if you wish to talk to me and the rest of the team. We're there and very interested in your feedback.

Thank you for being our customers and your patience.

Sincerely,

Brad Wardell
President & CEO

This was really awesome. Basically the original game was supposed to be a fantasy-based strategy game a bit like Civ 5 set in a post-apocalyptic fantasy world but it ended up being so unbalanced and buggy you could hardly play it. So giving out the (actually good) sequel for free was a great move. I'm probably gonna keep buying from them for this reason.

A lot of families, especially immigrants, may not make more than a few hundred dollars a month. They also tend to have far too many kids. And gram crackers with bread isn't going to give a child the proper nutrition they need to eat. I don't know how you can come out against something so fundamental as free meals for poor children. It's not like it's costly the US comparatively anything, especially compared to things like the military.
