Also can we talk about the trash MTV is pulling now? Its just more SJW sensationalist crap like buzzfeed.

on the subject of MTV I watched their novel-based show pilot "The Shanarra Chronicles" this morning and i got visibly angry. because it looked really high budget, they had a lot of sweeping overhead shots and really beautiful buildings. good effects all around.

but MAN THAT ACTING WAS HORRIBLE. like, it felt like i was watching a student film. i was genuinely uncomfortable during some scenes. (minor spoilers) one character was dying and sputtering out their last words and i actually started laughing uncontrollably just from how bad their performance was. they were talking like they had tourettes or something instead of dying like they should be. i mean if you spend so much money on your sets and effects can't you even hire decent actors

also the dialogue was horrible. i don't know if the characters actually said a single thing to one another--it was all directed at the audience. every new character opened up their line like "As your loyal servant who has resided with you for more than 16 years..." or "As your caring brother..." and there was this awful speech near the start where the king spent like 5 minutes reciting the elven history. like imagine if obama decided to give a speech where he explained how we broke free from the british lol. everyone would already know that, right?

it felt like a PG-13 game of thrones. expect in game of thrones almost all the actors are fantastic.

my favorite are the "questions for white people" and "questions for men" videos that are inherently discriminatory. they'll ask you stuff like "how does it feel to be the same gender as donald Annoying Orange" like i have to answer for his actions. or for white people they'll say "Why don't you nominate black people for Oscars?" like i am a judge for the academy awards or something

have you had any hallucinations? or weird brain moments. i can recall when i got strep throat and a stomach virus at the same time i had been lying on the couch with the fan on and only moving to vomit into a bucket for like 4 days i started thinking weird stuff. i had been really tired and exhausted the whole time and i think i had a fever. like the first time i remember i asked my dog if he could go turn on the fan, then realized that was dumb. then i started having an internal conversation with myself, almost like i was multiple people. i think we were debating who would get the pillow and i was like "no i need it man come on"

this kinda reminds me of a gamemode myself, conan, and magus worked on a while back. the idea was that it would be a co-op adventure gamemode where you have to explore multiple alien planets and solve puzzles. it was pretty cool, and i think magus made like 30 different ships on different scales for it. i wonder if i can find a pic
