same here^
I'll play. Which edition though? - http://steamcommunity.com/id/Snick0rz/
Which edition is this based off of?
It's BLD&D. It's modified to work better on a small grid with large pieces, and not much space for character info. It's probably the most similar to 3.5e.

The main changes are as follows:
We don't strictly abide by the grid system. The general idea that if you are in a room with a monster, you can hit it.
We don't have much space on the char sheets, so all the skills are reduced to their base stats (Str, Dex, Con, Int, Wis, Cha).
We level up arbitrarily (usually after great feats). XP is a pain to keep track of and seriously encourages violence.

Most people can pick it up within 10-20 minutes.

We have a custom script for dice rolls. It includes critical hits and failures (and modifiers too, now).

that was cool when like 5 planes crashed in the same month in 2014

i mean like plane crashes obv are bad but if we could have them spread out over a year or all at once i'd def choose all at once
more drama

What time are you guys likely to be up tonight?
I assume you're hosting today, given it's Halloween.

Also, who is the actual host?
The times are not set in stone, but we will be up for most of the night.

The server is hosted by "Halloween" a separate key (owned by Dragonoid).

Maruchan Hot & Spicy Chicken:

I wasn't expecting much from these, and I got a pleasant surprise. Like most bowls, nothing distinguished them from another during preparation. I heated it up, took a bite, and smiled. They were much better than  I expected! After the dissapointment of the shrimp, I expected all Hot & Spicy flavor bowls to be bad. This one wasn't. They NAILED the taste of the chicken, making it almost identical to the chicken flavor, but stronger, as though multiple packets had been entered. Alongside the enhanced chicken flavor was also a VERY spicy aftertaste. Somehow both flavors mixed without diminishing either. They were hot--hotter than the Hot & Spicy or the Hot & Spicy Shrimp. Overall, I really enjoyed them, though I don't think I will be getting many in the future.

Flavor: 8/10 (Delicious)
Spice: 8.2/10 (Very Spicy)

Dungeons & Dragons is a Blockland Gamemode based off the tabletop RPG of the same name. We've played over 60 2+ hour games on this map, and have fine-tuned it for the most accessible and fun gameplay possible. You control a miniature who goes on 100% open off-the-rails adventures in the mythical lands of Faerun and Planescape.

We need more players. The table holds 6 people max, but we usually host with 4, because so few are online. If you'd like to play with us on Fridays/Saturdays (no experience necessary) say so in a reply, along with your steam name. Please, only say so if you mean it, because slots are very limited.

Our table, deep in the hidden grove...

A paladin does battle with the Tarrasque, allowing the rest of the party to escape!

The party infiltrates a secret meeting!

June 12th, 2013, the day our adventure began!

Sessions:

Session 1:
Our party originated as 3 wanna-be adventurers, a cleric (Tyrius), warlock (Irbran), and fighter (Ragnar). The fighter was a blacksmith, and his boss was being extorted by a gang. We attacked the extorter in the streets, beat him up, and stole his money. He alerted the town guards, and seeing us only as robbers, banished us from our hometown of Phent. We headed north, into the woods, where we found a mysterious extra-planar portal. From it emerged a celestial bear, which attacked us on the path. After defeating it, we emerged in the forest town of Yeshelmaar, where the cleric (Tyrius) was seduced and attacked by succubus. After the attack, we fled the village, and our adventure continued.

Session 2:
We arrived in a poor village called Bezentil, where our cleric healed a young child in exchange for a family heirloom--a bow and arrow. We left the town, and were attacked by bandits, but fought through them. Arriving in the town of Ashane, a fisherman told us that the other fisherman were disappearing, and would pay us to investigate. Coincidentally, he knew archery, and offered to give Tyrius lessons if he resolved the issues. We set out onto the water in a boat, and were almost killed by a young kraken! We jumped in the water to battle it, and finally emerged victorious. Our cleric learned archery.

Session 3:
We headed north to the extremely poor town of N'jast, noting that it had a brilliant cathredal in the center, despite mass poverty. The cathedral offered us food and a bed if we stayed for their service, so we did. In the middle of the service, our group was attacked, and tied up to be sacrificed, along with some other adventurers. As the others were sacrificed, our group broke free, and fled the cathedral. The high priest stabbed himself in the chest, and warped into a horrifying spider! He chased us outside, and the village attacked us as an angry mob. We fled to the roof of the cathedral (via a grapple-hook) and began to climb as the spider chased us. Emerging on the highest peak, we cast Glitterdust, blowing the spider off of the tower, and impaling him on a spire far below. We quickly fled the town, but were attacked by more spider cultists on the road. We fought through them, barely.

Maruchan Hot & Spicy Shrimp:

I was very excited to try these, as I loved Lime Chili Shrimp. I heated them up, one of my first bowls, and didn't notice anything unique. There were multiple packets, like most bowls. I heated them up, and took a first bite. As expected, a wave of heat hit me... and then nothing. It was very lightly flavored. The flavor that was there tasted like shrimp, but it seemed more like a standard shrimp packet mixed with some hotsauce. I did enjoy the heat, and it was actually MORE spicy than standard Hot & Spicy. Overall, it was OK. I'd recommend it if you really love shrimp, but I won't be trying it again.

Flavor: 5.6/10 (Acceptable)
Spice: 7.8/10 (Spicy)

Nissin (Top Ramen) Hot & Spicy Flavor:

These were the first bowl noodles I've had, and I was very excited to try them. Both Maruchan and Top Ramen produced them, with the only clear difference being an uneccesary layer of plastic wrap around the Top Ramen Brands. I heated these up, but noticed no identifying smell. I took a bite, and was surprised. They were spicy! It lasted for a few seconds, followed by disappointment. It's spicy--but not much else. And it isn't even very spicy. Sure, I would say it's spicy for other flavors, but if I purchase a flavor titled "HOT AND SPICY" I expect it to be very hot and spicy. I can't really describe the flavor--because there was none. They weren't nearly as spicy or flavorful as Maruchan Chili Flavor, and if you want something better, spicier, or cheaper, I'd stick to Maruchan Chili.

Flavor: 4/10 (Bland)
Spice: 6.8/10 (A Little Spicy)

When your characters walked, they would run in short bursts, rather than a continuous slow pace. Hold C and continually walk, don't do slow stutter runs.

Also, get the physics camera mod. Your moving shots will look 10000x smoother.

Maruchan Chicken Tortilla Flavor:

I heated these up and didn't notice anything interesting about the process. They smelled like nothing. If i tried hard I could tell something was vaguely spicy. Once they were prepared, the smell remained the same. I took a bite, and was very surprised. What I expected to be a dull flavor was very good--and surprisingly spicy. It was not at all seasoned, just lightly spicy, and it's a strange effect to describe. The flavor was good, though not great. One thing I can say is that they NAILED the taste. It takes just like a tortilla, and has a light aftertaste of chicken. I'm honestly confused about how soup can so perfectly mimic the flavor of a tortilla.

Flavor: 7/10 (Very Good)
Spice: 6/10 (A Little Spicy)
